The Fans loved him, the players respected him, many players Campbell and now Bellamy have said they respected him, liked him. Kimbo who was so called abused has gone back to play for Malky at a different Club. There is only one Man who hates him and that is Vinny Tan. But I'm suprised at many of our fans that have forgotten what he achieved and believe what that serial liar Tan is spouting.

Totally agree, in my opinion the promotion he achieved has been massively over shadowed by his racism and general attitude. I will always remember him as a disgrace to this club.

In any case id have sacked him on football alone, people can say all they want about us not being in the bottom 3 but we were heading for it at a rapid pace despite spending a crazy amount.

Totally agree mate, people who understand football know that what he achieved for this club in his 2 full seasons was outstanding, a few comments will never change his actual football achievements.

Anyone who says otherwise is, firstly a very small minority, and secondly just the typical fickle modern football fan who expects brilliant football and results almost every game, and just get on the players' backs straight away in games when it's not happening.

When he left Palace we were one point behind and Hull were two ahead, our spending dwarfed theirs, net spend we were 4th in the league after the first transfer window, and he wanted further funds

I would struggle to suggest that you have never said anything remotely racist privately.

The main thing is that you and Mackay know right from wrong. You equally know what not to say in public, so you do not offend.

We all say things we regret, and looking back on some of the things I've said with my friends I cringe. I really have said some stupid things in the past.

One of our countries main beliefs is people deserve a second chance. That is what he is getting. Not that he has anything to be embarrassed about anyway. I honestly think there was nothing sinister in what he said.

He played the media and us extremely well, everyone has faults but was caught out saying things which at the moment are headline news.

Wasted a shed load of money on players that we did not need or were no good.

Besides that he did get us promoted and possibly Wigan relegated.

Let's move on and find another bright, intelligent up and coming Manager when the headmaster leaves.

Malky was perhaps our best ever manager...it's a myth that he spent massively to get us promoted..yes it was a decent budget but no huge transfer fees were ever paid!!!!!

A carling cup final, plays offs and a promotion(with 4 games still left to play) in 2 years is a huge achievement and may never be bettered

But Tan hasn't spouted any lies about Malky Malky has apologised for his comments, why would he apologise if he hasn't done anything wrong.

Similarly, Malky initially started proceedings against the club for wrongful dismissal then, when VT produced this evidence, that was rapidly withdrawn. that wouldn't happen if he/his lawyers thought he has any chance of success in court/tribunal.

I haven't forgotten what he achieved and nor will I any time soon. However, he wasn't the Messiah and if we were all honest we haven't played consistently attractive football since Dave Jones's days. We'll never know whether Malky would have kept us up. My doubts are simply around his ability to set us up to actually win games at home rather than just hang on in there.

However we dress it up, Malky disappointed and split the fan base and it's time to move on, whichever side of the fence you sit.

Worse again (IMHO) was the way he hoodwinked many loyal supporters into thinking he was the hard done by one in all of the battles with Tan!

Indeed, Malky cleverly used Tan against Tan and almost got away with it; the Liverpool game being the epitome of his fraudulent interactions with supporters, as he KNEW what he had done and he KNEW what really needed to happen, i.e. his resignation!
