Weekend in cardiff for Birmingham match.

Don't know if anyone will even find this interesting but thought it might be little different to post updates of my trip over from Ireland to watch my beloved bluebirds take on Birmingham.

Anyone that doesn't know me which is most if not all of you my name is Darren. I'm fr Ireland and have been a cardiff city fan 13 years. I am heading over this weekend for the home game against Birmingham and bringing my new missus for her first cardiff city game. Unfortunetly lads she is a Liverpool fan. Luckily I think our 4 year son may be saved as he seems to prefers the Cardiff crest.

Anyway about my weekend I have been up since half 3 to travel to Dublin airport for flight at 8.00. Already a little tired as I only finished work at 9 last night.

Going to post few pics along the weekend and if any of you want to join in post we will meet up get a selfie and add you to the journey.

Will be interesting to get a visitors view of the whole Cardiff Weekend experience. Not a patch on Dublin I'm sure but hope it is a memorable trip.

Thanks for messages guys. Yeah staying in Maldon will check match tickets for where I'm sittin when I get back to hotel. Wife after making me follow her shopping for last 3 hours and lads I have serious complaint so far. Where do you buy any cardiff city gear other than official club store? Been in 3 sports shops looking to get bit of gear and nothing. Plenty of Liverpool Man U Chelsea and arsenal but no bluebirds. I'm shocked. Other than that all good so far weathers lovely, people so friendly.

In the owain glyndwr( thank god I didn't have to pronounce that) pub having my first ever pint of hobgoblin, the missus is on desperado so I mY get lucky tonight haha.

Where is good near the maldron to watch the wolves derby game. Have sako first goalscorer backed for an interest.

Atmosphere wise the Canton Stand is the only stand that sings (other than the away fans of course), you will have a good view though.

Drove down last night from derby. Stayed at travel lodge off the m4. Going to make my way to sandmartin for breakfast.
