Unofficial singing section 116/117 please help

So a lot of us want to do something about the atmosphere, well apparently. The club are not going to swap the canton and grange end. Do you think we could get enough people who want to do something about this to relocate to 116/117? Forget NP for a minute, I used to sit in this area and some good noise used to come from this section which always lifted the rest of the stand. Yes you would be told to sit down but I for one want to do something about this, do you think we can get enough interest ? Or will people as usual moan but not do anything about it?

I feel strongly about this but I can't do it alone we got our colours back and our bluebird, what about our atmosphere?? If even a fraction of the lads from the canton moved it would be a start.

100% yes, I will definitely move from the Canton if this was organized.

There needs to be enough people for this to happen, stewards will have no power when it comes to numbers.

We all need to sit together. No point in having some fans in Canton and some in Ninnian. I think the banter is better near away fans . #togetherinnumbers

I will 100% relocate if this is going to happen! I was only saying Saturday that we need to get moved closer to the away fans. I sit (stand) in the canton at at times it's like a morgue in there, I will definitely be up for this!!

Not necessarily, but I've always said that we need a singing section next to the away support. This needs to get organized if we want an atmosphere that's consistent every game, not just the occasional big game.

Ok some good initial reactions and with fans not renewing at a rate of knots maybe we have time to get this going, maybe wait until the date where seats are available because fans have not renewed and then I will pick an area and we can go from there?

I say I will pick an area because to many people talk about things but don't do anything about it. It's worth a try! Something has to be done for sure, if you don't try you will never know.

The problem is that your group are too far down the stand to be able to stand and sing through the game, too many people behind you who are happy to sit quietly and watch the game

How about a shift across to 117? Canton can be noisy when people can be bothered but it's to far from away fans! Quite often read away fans out sung us loud etc but in all honesty we can rarely hear them in canton so have a different opinion which am sure they do of us!

The idea is it try and get the old block A atmosphere back to some level at least! Can't see why this can't be achieved

You need to think about how best to get the word out... If the club won't move us let's rub two brain cells together and do it ourselfs!

Well done for your efforts I just thought If they was to help and get it on all forums it will take off also people know them as fans that's what I ment also, the more the better I say

Nice one Stringfellow, I started a topic on this on Tuesdayhttp://www.cardiffcityforum.co.u ... 2&t=155925 and I pm,d Annis a couple of times last week to find out if he was up for organising, but he wasn't interested in taking a leading role, which is fair enough. So it's good that your trying to do something. The way I see it, is that after the season ticket renewal date, we can then see online exactly which rows sections are free, which should be substantial! I'm in Ninian 116 in row V, there are many around me who want to sing, but feel alienated. I suggest, that at the next games, you talk to fellow supporters next to you and in your sections and let them know what's happening. Brentford away, is also a good place to start, could a flyer be produced, going too far?
