My View/Opinion Today " WHO CARES/BUT "

My View/Opinion of City's game today :thumbright:

WHO CARES THIS POINT WILL HELP KEEP US UP :thumbright: BUT IT IS ONLY 1 WIN FROM 13 GAMES   ,STAY UP THIS SEASON,THEN GET RID IF RUSSELL SLADE :thumbright: :thumbright:

Huddersfield Town 0 Cardiff City 0

Around 450 Loyal CARDIFF fans made the journey.

CardiffCity: Marshall, Petier, Morrison, Ecuele Manga, Malone, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Noone, Kennedy, Doyle, Jones.
subs: Moore, Connolly, Adeyemi, O'Keefe, Harris, Revell, McAleny.

Ex Cardiff City Captain and fans favourite Mark Hudson was today facing his old club and many fans still today, believe we should never have got rid of him.

About 450 Cardiff fans were quite noisy behind the goal

The Bluebirds, remained unchanged from Tuesday night.

Lee Peltier returned to his former club, as did Sean Morrison.

Cardiff City started today's game with only 1 win from their last 12 League games, but they were boosted by their best performance for a long time against Blackburn in midweek
Whilst Huddersfield had been playing better on their travels, their recent home form had seen a lot of teams come away with wins,so maybe, just maybe,City could win this one

The first half hour was virtually all Huddersfield, led by Mark Hudson, Mark Kennedy though was looking good for the Bluebirds

ScottI Malone suffered an injury in the 28th minute and was replaced by Connolly, then Eoin Doyle brought a good save from Alex Smith with a close range header

Marshall had to make several saves in the first half, including two from Mark Hudson, City lucky to go in at half time at 0-0 :ayatollah:

Vaughan puts the ball in the net for the Huddersfield, but the ref had rightly blown ten seconds earlier for offside

Still all Huddersfield, but fair play City fans kept singing

City started to get in to it and it became end to end football

I could not understand this ?
Conor McAleny replaced Matthew Kennedy, as Kennedy for me was our best players so far
In my opinion at this stage,Kennedy was Cardiff's biggest threat.

Alex Revell replaced Eoin Doyle in the 83rd minute.

Huddersfield had most of the possession but who cares, a draw away from home for me,is a good point :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

But we now have to start winning our home games :thumbright:

This is relegation form though

My man of the match Kennedy but taken off

Up next Malky Mackays Wigan Athletic, away this Tuesday night :thumbright:

Said on the T V Huddesfiels should have had a player sent off for a pulliung K J in the area? :o

Can't say I agree that this is relegation form - 4 games unbeaten, yes no wins but if we think of the progression we've made, we had to start being difficult to beat before we can dream about winning. Our form all season has been so flaky.

So I think, I hope, that at some point (Christ I hope that is Tuesday but hey ho) we will play like we did Tuesday against Blackburn, convert a few chances even if they're a couple of deflected goals, who cares, get a ref decision etc - and actually win a match :)

Didn't make the game today, credit to everyone who went, thanks for supporting the boys so well.

1 win from 13 games for me that's not good?

Re: My View/Opinion Today " WHO CARES/BUT "

I don't think we'll go down. But need to get going forward most of shots came from midfield rather than forwards , still lacking bit of creativity. Kennedy being likely creator (so why was he taken off?) My guess is lack of match fitness but he looks good again :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Radio commentary had the away fans at 656?, both sets of commentators, Cardiff and Radio Leeds thought that City had the better chances and looked the more dangerous  I don't take so much notice of possession stats any more as there are far too many wins for teams that have the less possession in games. We had more shots than Huddersfield today
I would have taken a point before the game, so am happy with that  as I said in a thread this morning, until we get our strikers looking consistently dangerous then we will struggle to expect any wins :ayatollah:

Kennedy going off maybe with Tuesday in mind
Ffs if wenger or mourino did it ,it would be the clever thing to do
Slade does it and he's f...ing clueless

And some who go to the games are worse :bluescarf:

If you are wondering why some of us do not share your enthusiasm, you may want to take a look at the league table, and also a look at how many of our last eight matches we've won.

Unbeaten in 4, no win in 13!! - stats can tell different stories....

If our season wasn't over before today then it's certainly over now - 18 points less than Watford and only 7 more than Milwall!!!
I am convinced that we won't go down, but 17th or 18th is where we will finish....

For a proper assault next season we MUST have a quality manager and that man is NOT Slade - Just hope VT gets rid and gets us someone decent...

If we can average 1 point a game for the rest of the season we should just about be safe. We've taken 7 points from our last 8 games so we need to find a few wins from somewhere, otherwise it could go right down to the last couple of games. I think we should just about survive, but without some changes next season could be our last at this level for a while.

All it takes is Millwall and others to get a couple of wins :(

Four points off Rotherham in 21st, and seven off Millwall in the bottom three.

Steve, We will just about stay up in my opinion, but Slade is def the wrong man to manage us. With the quality of players we have,we should be in the play offs at least.

I agree with this 100%, back the team and manager and get to safety and then decide at the end of the season what Changes need to be done to take us forward. I don't think we have a bad group of players to be honest, it needs adding to and no doubt noone, Witts and gunners positions need to be addressed but been happy enough with the additions. Malone was superb Tuesday, gutted to see him go off hope he is ok

1 win from 13 league games is relegation form,no matter how certain people try to twist it.

I hope Slade is not our manager at the start of next season. I am sure there are clubs in the bottom two divisions who would be glad to have him, and I think he can probably do a reasonable job at that level. Whatever anyone says on this forum, I will never be convinced that he is the man for this club, not while we are still playing in the championship anyway.
