So which club is appealing ? A relegation battle and millions in debt ?

Or a nice debt free club higher in the table than us

But there are around ten clubs in danger of relegation, we won't be in debt if sold got the infrastructure already!
And several clubs above us totally unsuitable for takeover? Brentford for 1 as cannot expand ground or move! Bolton more debt than us! so not that many! But don't think it would happen anyway,

Why won't the club be in debt if sold? Selling the shares means the cash goes to the shareholder who sells them, not the club.

We have a far higher level of debt than Bolton

Because tan is not going to ask for £170m or whatever our debt is as he will never be able to sell club? :thumbup
Bolton recently were £145m in debt but no billionaire owner like we have. :laughing6:

So he buys tans shares, which is less than clubs debt! Then buys club to make up total owed to tan? Same difference? :o

I'm glad that your not using the 150 million figure you were saying only a few months ago ,it will be very interesting what our financial position is in the latest set of accounts and of course next year's

Stranger things have happened especially now minumum payment will be 100m in premier? :o

Keith.
I'd hope that any sale involves a reduction in the debt.

Anyway, when are the minutes out from last week's meeting ?

Did you get an updated figure on the debt out of them ?

Or any news on an AGM ?

most clubs or businesses have debt it depends on if you can service the debt ie pay the intrest or the creditor doesn't ask for it back ,we are lucky at the moment that tan doesn't want his Money back and we are cash rich due to the sky tv money and thus years parachute money
