Dave Jones, Malky Mackay or Russell Slade ?
Which one of these would you choose as Cardiff City manager right now if the decision was yours ?
Do you keep Slade or go back to Dave Jones or Malky Mackay ?
Once you have made your choice, would you give a reason why you made the choice.

Dave Jones , football was most entertaining under him , if he had the money Malky had I do believe he would of taken us up
Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:10 pm
If i had to choose between Slade and Jones i'd pick Slade because at least he is grateful to be Cardiff manager and is trying to make it work unlike Jones but of course I would pick Malky.

Never thought i would say this but better the devil you know......Dave Moans
Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:17 pm
The only option is Dave Jones.
1st Choice Dave Jones did well for us, kept Wednesday up.
2nd choice slade, awful manager who needs replacing.
3rd Malky is a racist bully who is taking wigan down.

Jones but only if Terry Burton came with him and he wasn't,t allowed to talk to the media and make me hate the sight of him!
Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:22 pm
Who in their right mind would pick Slade over Jones? Jones was one of the best managers we have ever had, it was enjoyable with Jones. He did things the right way.

i would have to say dave , he got us from the bottom before on a small budget and almost into the prem

I loved his honest interviews, miserable as hell but honest.

Slade crap
Malky doing crap at Wigan, took us up from a poor league, spent loads.... No
Got to be jones for me
Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:26 pm
Malky for me...... Hard working squad that played for The manager and each other and I'm sure he could get this bunch of players to do the same unlike Slade!!! Would also pick DJ over Slade

It's a bit of a myth that he had a small budget. He didn't' spend much on transfer fees but he had one of the bigger wage bills in the Division.

1st Jones as he never got any money and played the best football I've seen out of the three.
2nd malky - never really rated him got us up due to the funds given didn't enjoy his football most weeks either but it got results.
3rd Slade because if there was 50 managers listed by carl slade would be bottom.

None of the above, all 3 failed City one way or the other
Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:39 pm
how come ole is not in the mix... according to tan ole was miles better manager than malky
and for me give me eddie may all day every day

Out of the three, it has to be Dave Jones. The football was good, but our defending let us down. Think he still has unfinished business at the City.

James Frost Malky all day!

Agree 100% malky had them working hard, organised and delivered more than expected. Nobody expected cup final or playoffs when he walked in. Delivered the title when asked for promotion. Had us 16th/17th in prem with 8 of bottom 11 left at home having won the other 2 with jan transfer window coming up. Main thing for me is having a squad up for the fight. We had that with mm imo. I'm only interested in how they managed the team. Off field matters none of my business when it comes to managers or players IF they are performing.

His current failure at Wigan will never take away what he achieved here.

1. Malky - proved he could get us up. This it was a weak league, he had money ammunition to use against him is bollocks. Many managers have been given money and have failed. Malky took us up into the top and no one else has done that.
2. Slade - lets be straight here. He has not been given the chance. He inherited a missed match squad, has to work on his own and basically given no support from anyone. For that I give him the 2nd spot.
3 Jones - Had the best squad ever I have seen and failed. He had a good first season and stabilised us in the championship which as far as I am concerned is our starting line for our club. Sadly he could not get us to the next stage even though he was paid a nice bundle.
Fri Feb 13, 2015 9:58 pm
Really Malky - "This isn't about sentiment, his behaviour has already ruined that, this is about who we would want to manage us now.
I fully expected him to push wigan right up the league but I think he got lucky at Cardiff and now showing his quality.

The right funds?? You mean he didn't have enough?

Would never want Malky back, hand in the till still believe he will have his comeuppance, can't see VT letting that one go without a fight.
Watch this space hmmmmmm.

The right funds?! He spent about £10 million to get us out of the championship then spunked £50 million up the wall in the premier league. That's not enough in your eyes though.

Today and I mean Today DJ is the only answer, he had one of lifes unfair kickings at Southampton at a time when he was looking to become one of the great mangers, some of that affected his first time with us, although his disdain for the local media has subsequently shown to be justified! I firmly believe that he has a true affection for the club and could very quickly get the players playing his style of football (he will also inherit better defenders than he ever had first time around). But what he vitally does appear to have is some respect from Mr. Tan, because he certainly won't get any help from the gutless shower who masquerade as Directors, if they had one "ball" between them then maybe MM would still be our manager and we would now be looking down on our South Wales neighbours! Russell Slade seems a nice chap but if he fails to relegate us this term then I'm sure he will succeed next time.

Malky was a great manager he also had a great way with supporters and all the staff liked him too he did a job for us too
As far as Slade well he seems to be doing everything he can to get sacked
Dave Jones did well at first but at the end turned into an arrogant big head who blamed everyone except himself at the
end he stayed 2 season to long in my view if he had left before he did he would have been popular but at the end he
was an arse and I wouldn't want him back

What a bloody stupid question - Malky. He delivered. Simple. End of.
