' Cardiff City Player in talks to leave ' More Money wasted

Another load of money wasted by Vincent Tan.

Can someone tell me what we achieved by having Danny Gabbidon?

We can keep blaming managers/players,but at the end of the day Vincent Tan has the final say and in many cases has chosen the coaches players himself.

£millions upon £millions wasted by Tan himself, football is not for him.

it's his money that he is passing onto Cardiff City FC as a debt which we will have to pay back, can't you see that?? but if you are happy that Tan is wasting £millions that CCFC will have to one day pay back then you are deluded

in my 50 years of supporting cardiff no manager has been given the money that mm and ole had to spend who's to say if the likes of andrews or ashurst had the money these guys had to spend they would'nt have taken us up don't forget in our whole history we have been a selling club

I must agree with this one!

It's very unusual of you to moan :bluescarf:

It's his money, however I can understand your meaning in that it could have been spent elsewhere,

ie knocking price of season tickets down even more but there we are! The Club don't understand this so what
else can we expect :ayatollah:

Not sure I understand this. I thought Gabbidon was brought in on a free.
So if we get rid of him, we save his wages.

Alternatively keeping him and not playing him WOULD be a waste of money.

What I am saying is, we keep blaming manager after manager for wasting money, but the real waster is Tan as he is clueless on football and everyone else gets blames for where we are now.

Season tickets should actually be cheaper, for the direction were heading.

I know what you are saying but it's his money.

If he had the time and proper direction from someone he could have saved loads, we would be doing better and at the end of it we will never get an owner like him who chucks money at it.

Wish he would chuck £1000 to me and I would renew :bluescarf:

Well he won't get it all back so he will have learned that.

No one is going to buy him out and if we were lucky to find someone they won't pay him the full amount.

Even though we would not know the full story as usual :D

Please just answer 2 questions, was it money well spent or wasted? and is this not becoming quite common under yes or no?

It's not his money, it's further debt for the club, which he is wantonly wasting - AGAIN!

Totally agree with you Annis. It's like having a train set for Christmas, but your Dad won't let you play with it. He hogs it all day and by Boxing Day, it's broken, so you have to pay for it!!

Tan's frivolous spending sprees are the reason we have nothing to show for last season's huge windfall from PL TV rights. Ok, his money got us there but poor decisions and bad management have knocked the club back to where Tân came in and "saved" the club.

Some posters on here need to wake up and smell the coffee. The club is getting further in debt or recovering by selling all the best players, under a manager appointed by Tan and the brand of football is dire at times (although there have been glimmers of hope).

Exactly the wages we've paid Gabbidon probably equates to around 3/400 season ticket. And that's just Gabbidon I dread to think about other wasted singing, Guerra, burgerstaller, eikrem, the dane
etc etc etc. We could have filled the stadium with st holders for the price these players cost and that's just the wages. We can blame the managers but as I've said before... They don't sign the cheques.

Annis,
Ever since Mr. Tan took control of our club he has put in place an appointed Board of Directors (containing I assume some highly paid executive ones who are supposed to take responsibility of the day to day running of the club, especially as the "owner" is probably the most absent owner in the Football League) they have overseen and sanctioned every cock-up since Mr. Tan's tenure! Every day this forum contains points of wisdom, do any of the so called Directors ever visit it?
However my question is: Have you ever had a proper conversation or debate with Mr Tan or our CEO?
I know a fans representative at Board meeting may not have any voting rights but surely a chance to say it as it is just might make one of them wake up and smell the coffee!

Yes All Tans CEO'S etc read this forum on a daily basics, but most are just yes men to him.
Also CEO'S like Allan Whitley who spoke out got sacked.

Yes Ive met them all.

I have only ever met Tan once, a 3hour meeting just after we got promoted, the prob was to him everything was exactly how he planned it then. I did have a very good chat with him, one on one.
