Manager looks for victory over Blackburn after back to back draws
The Bluebirds' next clash is this coming Tuesday - at home to Blackburn Rovers - and in the Manager's eyes, represents a great opportunity to push forward.
“It was important that we earned a clean sheet [against Brighton], though I’m disappointed that we couldn’t grab a goal," he admitted. "Neither side could play between the lines because the midfield was so packed – it was difficult to maneuver the ball at times. We need to build against Blackburn after back to back draws.
“If we can grab back-to-back wins then the picture changes immediately in this division. We believe and we are positive that in our next challenge we can get three points.
"We have another chance next Tuesday to move forward and create some belief. There have been positives in the past two games; we are not however, the finished article.”

Bobbank59 wrote:Positives!!!??? There were certainly no positives from the 'must win' game against Brighton. The clean sheet was due to the fact that they were as pathetic as we were. Slade just waffles all the time. Does the man know anything about football? It has been time for him to go for some time now. In fact he should never have been appointed in the first place.
