in his first 90 minutes for Freiburg. Sorry guys, but we´ve been robbed.
Here are some Freiburg fan´s reactions:
"Has the tools to become huge in the big world of football. I´m glad he´s playing for us at the moment"
"The guy is a giant. After just 90 minutes, I´m an absolute fan. This in one who can make a difference in a relegation battle".

No!
http://www1.skysports.com/football/team ... g/fixturesThey've got a chance next time out though, as they've got struggling Dortmund!

They lost 1-0

Doesn't the man of the match need to positively affect the game ?
Tue Feb 03, 2015 9:56 pm
The ball did stick to his feet like glue but no end product majority of the time i'm not missing him.

One of the most over-rated players in recent Cardiff history.

A class act, and will prove that over time.

f**k Me twice in one night I've agreed with chuckles
Potential but no good in this league not physical enough, looked a mile better in the prem but the league gives you more space, this league is unforgiving very tough and physical Michael brown type midfielders destroy him
Tue Feb 03, 2015 10:30 pm
He might go on to be great, but not a player we are missing right now and would not have any impact on the championship. for all his skill didnt do much and didnt have a football brain and don't think he would learn under slade thats for sure!
Tue Feb 03, 2015 10:31 pm
Saw most of the game He was very good. Played in the hole behind the striker. Had the ball lots and seemed suprisingly integrated in the side already. Should have had an assist but his team mate shot right at the goal keeper. On a scale from
1-5 where 1 is the highest he was rated a 2 in Bild. So seems like went down well.

I think alot of people are forgetting he was 19. All these over ratted and no end product comments are stupid, he needed to be nurtured and coached correctly to develop. His potential was clear to see.

Ideal for continental football and coaches! as there are none in champ he wouldn't prosper with 99%of teams here. Best move for him maybe in 3 or4 yrs he will be good?

Yeah Zaha was gonna be world class too.
Oh wait.
Tue Feb 03, 2015 11:18 pm
This guy played junior football a few years ago and has 1 season in Norwegian football as his only professional experience.
Still he could come in at the matches in PREM and make a difference and show what potential he has.
And we got fans saying they dont miss him cause he had no end product. You ignorant morons.
He came to City instead of going back to Man U becuase he wanted to develope as a player rather than sitting on the bench at Man U. I for one respect players who turn down Man U to play for us.

Wasn't even a season I think he has 11-12 professional games before he came city.
He only played for like 6 months in Norway.

Just because he was Freiburg's man of the match in a game they lost and two fans made positive comments doesn't mean we've been robbed
Wed Feb 04, 2015 6:38 am
Did someone say he didn't have a football brain? He was about 5 steps ahead of anyone else in our squad!! Go and ask Manchester utd coaches about his non footbal brain, you have been brainwashed by championship kick and Rush footBall, nobody was on his wavelengh. The better players he played with the better he looked.
Very lightweight and the better leagues would bring out the better Daehli.
Whoever it was that said the championship was unforgiving is wrong in my eyes. Lots of mistakes get forgiven as its full of very poor/average sides. Lots of players mistakes get forgiven.
Reminds me of coutinho at inter Milan, great promise that has gone unfulfilled and needed a move to a different league to kick start it off again.

He's gone, for a number of reasons, so get on with it.
Worry about what happens here, not everywhere else.

Allan I agree continental football will suit him better than hoof ball but my argument is people questioning his ability, if slade liked to play passing attractive football dahli would thrive. There are a few teams he would fit into nicely in this division light weight or not

Spot on Nubbsy, one of the best talents & potential we've had since I can remember.
A complete travesty letting him go.

Why compare them! Cornelius is a big target man with an appalling first touch. Daehlis a small technically gifted player. They couldn't be more different. Daehli showed class in the pl, cornelius looked out of his depth.
Cornelius cost 8 mill and was on 40 k a week. Daehli cost peanuts in comparison.
Whatsmore, Zaha and cornelius are both a good few years older. Let's see when he is their age where he is.
Zaha is doing better these days btw hes been quite good for palace he might not become world class but could still become a very good player.

I'd swap him for 2 Craig Noones right now, whether at 10 or on the wing.

Well of course we would, taking to negatives out of the team would be great news

I always rated Daehli highly

He was good technically and always looked comfortable on the ball, the only player we had who stood out,but saying that he didn't create much and I thought he was very poor defensively, the reason he was sold was simple,he came here to play for ole, once he was sacked daehli was always going to leave

No, he came to Cardiff to play. Period.

Actually, I think he is exactly the kind of player we are missing - someone who can hold on to the ball and help us gain more possession. Freiburg had 63 % possession away against the team holding third place in the Bundesliga, and Dæhli was a great part of that. Yes, they lost, but Freiburg were totally dominating and created many good chances. A game they normally should have won.
In the end of the day, they got a 19 years old who can dominate a game in the Bundesliga, for 2 mill.
Yes, alright, I should still get over it. I´m trying, I´m trying
