No - purely financial though

The football's been shit for seasons on end to be fair. We then had nobluenorenew we got our blue back now we are cost cutting as a club for tan to recoup and bail which is a good thing as the whole rott stems from him. The many people who hated all the debt are moaning and looking for excuses not to renew. People will never be happy or any manager who was here rite now with the fire sale going on would make any difference with the squad full of over paid crapcraps spades been left make any difference imo.

no more money into cardiff city, come to the end of the road, you seen from the results tonight, your paying for a bunch of wankers , personating footballers, driving around in ferraris, end for me , always support the city, but no more money
Sat Jan 24, 2015 11:37 pm
Yes for me.
It was always about the colour and badge, nothing else.
Sun Jan 25, 2015 12:00 am
I'll be here even if we were in the conference. I bet fans wouldn't be using the old "financial" excuse if we were getting promoted. "City til I die" after all.

Exactly! They whinge about no blue no renew then the minute we go back to blue and lose a few games they whinge again. Our fans are shit. No loyalty. First sign of a struggle and they run for cover. They might as well piss off cos they don't f*cking sing anyway.

"Always support the City" but you won't anymore because the players drive around In Ferraris?? I've hear it all now
Sun Jan 25, 2015 7:33 am
I'm renewing.
Sun Jan 25, 2015 8:18 am
Probably, not sure why though as I'm not enjoying it ???
Maybe the hope it can only get better???
But with Slade still here ???
Hopefully he will be gone for next season .....
By the way it's obvious what happened now, we missed out on promotion the season due to Ole's complete f**k up and appointed Slade to work on a lower budget.
Then they decided we had better go back blue to at least get some more season tickets, so those thinking he's working on a lower budget now because we are blue are wrong, it was the other way around.

Will defo renew now we're back in blue. The colour issue was the only thing that was gonna make me stop going. As long as I can afford it, I'll always renew, whatever league we're in and however bad the football is.
Sun Jan 25, 2015 10:03 am
Just voted no
the football is absolute garbage at the moment unless it improves i won't be getting one
will just pick and choose my games next season
also with work find it a struggle with midweek games
with my season ticket in zone 2 (main grandstand)
i think the prices are too high for the standard of football
Sun Jan 25, 2015 10:27 am
No for me, not to do with badges, colours, costs, ( although pricey ) standard of football, ( I've seen worse lol ) down to a near 6 hour round trip is creasing me .
Farewell.

That's a lot of people not renewing as things stand, & if that's an accurate forecast of current season ticket holders intentions, our club could be looking at around the 8,000 s/t mark next season.

if not less!
Sun Jan 25, 2015 10:55 am
There's no reason not to renew isit now?
If people Moran about results the way we play ect f**k off and support Chealsea or someone and have a easy life.

Annis I heard reports that the club was told to expect renewals around the 5,000 mark. This is the reason Tan returned us to blue.
Of course these sort of reports are scenarios nothing proven but in our case enough to worry him. I also heard he would be happy with 10,000 ST next season, hence why I intend to believe these reports happened. If this poll above is anything to go by then we will not hit the 10,000 mark.
I believe Tan is very worried.

We only had a few thousand when DJ started.....not the end of the world
I have only had a season ticket for 4 years but watched city on and off for 35 years.
ITS NOT A FCUKING PROTEST THOUGH !!!!!!!!!!
You just have other priorities
Sun Jan 25, 2015 11:02 am
It would be a shame not to renew really. The football standard is shit agreed plus I'd have to find something else to fill the gap so it's a "yes" from me
Sun Jan 25, 2015 11:02 am
I don't know......I'm out of work on the 1st of May, so right now no.

That's fair enough at least your not looking for excuses not to renew.

Nothing new in all that. Cardiff City FC has always been glory hunting club, certainly in my life time, & that's over 50 odd years.
Check the stats if you want testimony to that fact, & any club that has spent over 50 years in the lower leagues like we have has the same problems, a fragmented fan base that also purports to supports other high profile Premier clubs as well.
We have always been told that our club was a sleeping giant, & that we had a massive fan base, from a catchment area of around 1 million people, well, as far as I'm concerned, we could have the catchment area of Beijing, or New Delhi, & we still wouldn't get over 20.000 crowds, not watching the rubbish we are currently witnessing by a so called professional football club!

Ian, there is a lot of truth in that.

I always though we where a sleeping giant but we ain't there's at least 7 teams bigger than us in the championship that I can think of

Excuse? I'm GUTTED that I can't renew next season. I am literally not in a financial position to be paying out on the football. I have other priorities. Whether it's the premier league, championship or league one, if I could afford it, i'de be there.
I'm not boycotting or walking away, I'll go to home games when I can afford too.
So let's not presume to know other people's financial state
