' Wilfried Zaha, Javi Guerra,Ravel Morrison and Mat Daehli '

Since January 2014 City have had top fitness trainers in,yet Slade says City's team was unfit, fair enough, but we still have the same fitness trainers and they are good, it was prob Ole's fault for not being strong enough about the hours our players spent training etc

" ALL HIGH WAGES "

' Wilfried Zaha '
Quality, but I was told this week Wilfried Zaha, wrong attitude, big headed and listen to no one, thought he knew it all and I can understand why we got rid of him if true? :thumbright:

' Guerra '
Proven goal scorer/perfect attitude, even asked to be given a chance under Slade, fitness was bang on and did well in training, was never given a chance?

' Ravel Morrison '
Quality, right attitude, was begging to play, to prove himself, trained hard, proved his fitness, was never given a proper run of games?

' Mat Daehli '
On his day was quality for the Championship, right attitude, wanted to play, was fit,but never given a run of games?

Are we getting rid of the right players?

Fitness levels much better yesterday but lack of possession still an issue :bluescarf:

Wilfred saha has never played for cardiff but wilfred zaha has

Yes getting rid of the wrong players on the field but correct if we need to drastically our wage bill to put our club on a better financial footing.
Slade has been brought in to do this and us fans need to get used to it.

Re: ' Wilfred Saha, Javi Guerra,Ravel Morrison and Mat Daehl

I think we now know this is a cost cutting exercise. As difficult as it is to accept, outside of south wales we are not viewed as the greatest team in football the world has ever seen. The players were attracted to cardiff by cash, wages we can now not afford outside of the premier league, so we are buying cheaper alternatives.

We as supporters have to accept this, Slade is building a smaller version of what Malky had a few years back and going for the playoffs. If it is done well, we could get promoted with a smaller asset filled team with no baggage. We can build on this and have abetter shot at staying up. In BLUE this time.!

There is a law of diminishing returns in play here......

Not one of those players affected a game to an extent where I thought they were worth three times the salary of their replacement.

All prima donna's

Guerra not given a chance, and I bet the rest of our strikers are on not far from what he is on. At I guess I would say:
Guerra 35k
Jones 35k
Macheda 20k
ALF 20k
Revell 12k

Daehli said the intensity of training is higher in Germany. Why do people think he was a high earner? I don't think so, I think it's more that the club could get a couple of millions for him. He's the only one of the players slade doesn't use that was easy to get a good fee for.

Revell looked better than Macheda already......

I doubt we will ever find out about Guerra, but with a mobile striker taking the pressure off him I also believe he would score for fun......Alf is shot and needs a break

I was looking for the Deahli highlights package and all i could find were non cardiff city reels.

I understand, i still feel protective over aaron ramsey.......

Bollocks. Daehls not a primadonna, far from it,what's the evidence guerra is? Both those guys have a great rep as hardworking professional. Don't confuse them with the likes of zaha.
I'd accept guerra is probably on a higher wage than revell. But guerra didn't ever have a chance to affect a game did he?
Revell been here 2 min and has already played almost as much as guerra. Guerra simply never given a chance.

Need a quick right footed winger. I was impressed with work ethic yesterday. Performance was not great but Adeyemi looks like a good player. Malone added balance to side. John Brayford is best right back in championship. I'm not convinced about our central defenders. Not good enough on the ball. I love craig noone but he must work on his final ball. All to often he goes on a great run but loses possession in final third.

We can still go up. The championship is a poor league and anyone can beat anyone. Ipswich are in top 3 and from what I've seen they are crap. Bournemouth are great going forward but awful at the back. Same with brentford.

Rumour that I heard yesterday has it that Dhaeli was involved in a big bust up with Slade on the training ground and that Hudson was involved in the Malky Textgate affair and that's why they were allowed to leave... All speculation unless anybody knows different, but from a source with connections at the club.

I am more gutted about Guerra not being given a chance than any of our other players. I know he had a bad half against Bournmouth in the league cup, but no player came out of that game with much credit. What little we did see of Javi Guerra, as a sub a couple of times in league matches, he looked ver good. As you say Annis, great attitude and wanted to play.

Guerra should have been given a run, le fondre has never justified being one of the first names on the sheet.
Seen daehli highlight reels with plenty of Cardiff. Funny how pepple like to rewrite history when a player is gone.
Just before he left you were bemoaning that he wasnt given a run behind the striker/ slade didn't play him or Morrison.

I heard Slade had to tell him that he was not in the clubs future plans and that really hurt Daehli.

Yes, given a run of games I think Guerra could/would have been tremendous for this club.

I know Guerra's Spanish friends and they have told me for months Guerra has been begging to play and has been great in training.
Guerra has the right attitude, but his face and wages dont fit anymore.

It's a pity someone can't get into Slade's ear and try and persuade him to give Guerra a chance. Now that we have gone back to blue maybe Tan is mellowing and let Slade play a player or two who are on high wages. After all we are still paying them.

Annis, what do you mean "anymore" , Guerra hasnt really been given a chance full stop !!!

When he came on against Wigan , I thought "this guy can play, holds the ball up well, made intelligent runs" but has never been given a chance whilst Macheda,ALF,Jones have been given ample chances. Even Maynard has been outside looking in although watching him unfortunately I feel he just hasnt been the same since that injury?

Ravell worked hard and brought others into the game and generally showed some glimpses that he may work out although whether he will score enough we will have to wait and see. One thing is sure, we have a player who scored 18 goals in La Liga for a struggling team and he can't get a game here !!! sad! :(

My post was not a moan it was my opinion on the team at time history shows that relegated teams struggle and the way the team were performing at time history also shows that promoted team usually provide one them to challenge for promotion I don't think we will be in mixed end on season on performance present however history also shows a team will come from nowhere late on to gain promotion so there's always hope so let's wait and see hopefully I will be wrong

An absoloute joke why ravel daehli and guerra have not got a look in.. i just hope slade can replace them with his own quality because this team is not good enough to get promoted where as if these 3 players were in the side we would
