Whether you boycotted like me from the beginning, boycotted half way through or still went flying the blue flag we all need to unite. Whether you were KCB, BU, or whatever we all need to unite.I'm the most positive I've been for three years, honestly you don't understand how much this has affected me.

It's affected us all mate, but as you say elsewhere, we've all dealt with it in different ways. IF the news is good, then I agree, we all need to unite, and move on :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

May not of always agreed with your ways of doing things (BU etc) but I respect you for standing firm in what you think was right.
Glad you can start to look forward again to watching the club you love.

Simon, I couldn't be more pleased for you if this becomes reality (and it looks like it will) and I won't even begin to comprehend what you have been through in recent times. You have, IMHO, remained pretty damned courteous under the circumstances and that is a credit to you as a person

You know I have always respected your decision to stay away, even if I didn't agree with it, as you had the balls to stand up for what YOU believed in and now (maybe not until next season) you can come back with your head held high and your pride in YOUR beloved club intact :ayatollah:

Happy days all round, methinks! :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

No more bickering about the rebrand if this comes off :D :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Re: Unity

Fri Jan 09, 2015 12:45 am

my 2 cents on this:

Looks like us fans have won and Cardiff's back in blue with our Bluebird crest. Will believe it when I see it, but for now well done to everyone who supported our "cause". It's the people's game, it's a community club and you simply don't rebrand that for marketing, superstitions or personal likings.

Thanks to all pro-blue campaigners, who didn't give up. Sian & BU, and all the marchers who wore blue, also those who still went despite seeing red at the beginning.

Also to all those ( like Simon) who missed out on the sporting success ride and decided to boycott the club.

I said it back then, when we got called attention seekers, and that we're just 5%...

"Our day will come..."

We must not forget one thing: Justice for the lads who got bans for protesting against TAN and his rebrand, who stood up for our history, tradition and identity...

Those bans have to be reverted

It took us some time, but right now it seems the struggle is over and won...

I said it before, I will be back when we're in blue at home, with our Bluebirds badge. Looks like this day is coming closer... finally....

I've only been a supporter for 10 years, but this will be my favourite moment as a Cardiff fan, and Dalman certainly couldn't get our hopes any higher. This means more to me than any cup final or promotion. :bluescarf:

Yeah, well done everyone.

I know like all fan bases we have our differences but last night we were united.

The healing can begin and the fans can learn, heal and become stronger from this.

Almost overnight we can go from a club divided to a club united. I wouldn't want to be the first team to play us at Home when we return to blue and the shot in the arm the team will get from the terraces will be immense.

Well done to Tan. While the scares may remain for a while yet credit and respect to him for this. While we all have issues with him now is the time to be glad.
