" CARDIFF CITY BID ACCEPTED "

Cardiff City have had their bid of £100k for Millwall defender Scott Malone accepted.

The Bluebirds' initial offer was rejected but they returned with improved terms on Friday and have now been given permission to discuss personal terms with Malone.

But a deal is almost complete, with Malone only needing to pass a medical and finalise his contract before an official announcement can be made by the two clubs.

The Lions' preference was to swap Malone for a Cardiff player but they've decided to accept a cash offer of around £100,000 instead.

I bet they wanted money, the last thing they want is shit in their team!!

Good news in my opinion as we have needed a specialist left back for a longtime. A decent young player who doesn't mind getting stuck in, a style which I think will make him a favourite with the city fans.

At 6' 2" another sizeable asset to the team.

Underwhelming but hopefully better defensively than what we have now.
