A forum for all things Cardiff City

Straight choice basically. For me it's identity as I would take that tomorrow even if it meant us going as far back as the Hellenic league.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 5:36 am
Back to blue, easy.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 8:27 am
That's a no brainier. There's clearly two non Viry supporters on the forum who prefer City back in the a Premiership.
You just can't wipe out over 100 years of history, tradition, pride and identity and pretend that it was not there. Your history, identity and roots need to be protected.

Getting our identity back.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 9:16 am
Watching my team play every fortnight.
Having decent people with football brains running the club
Playing in blue
Have proper badge on shirr
Having a good atmosphere in our stadium
Promotion
In that order
Sun Dec 28, 2014 9:28 am
I voted for back to blue
but and its a big but
we also have a generation in the making of young city fans just like my grandson william who i am teaching about the blue and badge etc who have only really known city playing in red with the shit badge and never playing below the championship level
I suppose if we went back to blue they could justifyably say there history and tradition has been taken/ changed etc and when it happens and I have no doubt it will in time we might have a riot on our hands

the priority is to recognise the club i once supported......simple as that nukes...

1 - to exist
2 - back to blue
3 - to do well

Many of the fans have very short memories. I want us to play in blue as much as anybody else, but Tan's terms for investment were very clear from the start, further confirmed when he pulled out temporarily then came back to the table.
Take the emotion out of equation, a change to red was the main part of his offer, whether we like it or not.
We all know -
1. He has no regard for the club's history
2. He has no relationshio with the fanbase BUT
3. We knew the conditions under which he was investing
Sun Dec 28, 2014 10:43 am
From day one of the unfair unjust rebrand ive wanted my clubs identity.
As far as I am concerned Cardiff City in the prem in never felt no where near what it should of due to the joke of a rebrand with no fans democratic vote.

And I was not interested in his false glory or his loaning us of £100million.
When we won promotion,I never celebrated,I walked out and sat in the Ninian Park Pub,watching fans on the pitch in Red.
When Tan lifted the Championship, our section got 70% of the ground to sing " We Will Always Be Blue "
Meeting after meeting since May 2012,I have organised or attended to try and protest.
But many turned against us for our strong views.
The Club refused to allow 20,000 season ticket holders a vote, which we asked them on several occasions to do.
People who work for our club also have a lot to answer for.

Voted back to blue no brainer no hesitation
Sun Dec 28, 2014 10:51 am
Easiest poll ever that!
Sod the premiership. Without our identity we are nothing. With the red franchise shit we are soulless.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 10:51 am
That's a no brainer chief, getting our identity back for me is much more important than getting to the premier league, the first option is for the glory hunting plastics or those that love the red.

6 people have voted getting back to the premier league over getting our identity back

either they are Jacks or glory hunters
Sun Dec 28, 2014 10:53 am
Got to go further than getting the identity back. We need Tan out.
One without the other is a waste.

I notice that out of 6 voting getting back to the premier league not one has backed that up by commenting, says it all really

The conditions under which he invested were unfair and in no way democratic because as a fan base we never got a fair vote on a simple yes or no to the rebrand .
Instead as a fan you had to just put up with it and lots saw straight through it.
Ccfc is an important part of the community and is a built part of me to change it without consulting the fans with dialogue or a fair vote was totally and utterly unacceptable and still is.
The result is what we have now a broken mess of a club .
The way you right you post is wrong. You we all new the terms .yea but we were never given a choice to accept or reject them and that has always been my problem which has left me beyond fuming with tans dictatorship never will I roll over .
Its not right and how he can say he acted with honour is totally unacceptable and unbelievable the man has conned me and many fans.

I watch everyone invade the pitch and tried to catch the feeling what everyone else was feeling. I could not.
I went to the Ninian Pub to see if my feelings would change. They didn't.
The pride was there for the players and team but the joy was not thanks to Tan. Tan Out.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 11:26 am
back to blue...I used to go and watch Cardiff City, not the opposition.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 11:28 am
I have gone to a few games since he turned us red. I never went to one game when we were in the premier.
City means more to me than just the glory, but a lot of fans will put premier first every time because they get to see their team man utd ect playing Cardiff.
Anyone can vot on this topic, that includes jacks and people who dont support Cardiff and find it funny to stir the pot.

Ridiculous poll. Too late. That horse has bolted and many, many more than are choosing Premiership now chose it when it mattered.
Sun Dec 28, 2014 12:19 pm
Tan has shown total disregard and contempt for City fans, and his decisions are clearly not good footballing ones. The only way to have gotten a fair decision regarding the rebrand would have been to have polled all season ticket holders our members on the database. As far as I am aware this did not happen so I don't understand his argument regarding the rebrand. Sack Slade and hire Pulis and try and salvage our season. Reverse the rebrand so that next season we run out at home in blue with our original crest and then try and sell the club.
