Cardiff City team : Marshall; Brayford, Turner, Morrison, Connolly; Kim, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Noone; Le Fondre, Jones


Over 1,300 Cardiff Fans travelled to see their Bluebirds play,many of us not having much faith in our team/manager today and we were proved right,we lost 5-3 but it could easily have been by many more goals.

What the hell is going on ? The home team played in red and black and on Tan's orders our team runs out in white with red trim, that put a downer on the fans to start with and continued through the game,our fans chanted ' Why the f**k are we in white ?? '

This was always going to be a real test for City,with Bournemouth unbeaten in their last 11 games and riding high in the Championship,but remember last season Bournemouth were just promoted to the Championship,whilst City were in the Premier League.
City with a team full of highly paid players were playing a team which is run on a shoestring.

Within one minute the whites were 1-0 down, our defence was opened up continually with Connolly being our weakest link. I would say on at least four occasions they opened us up by attacking Connolly.

By the 19th minute City fans never just sang 'we'll always be blue' they continued with anti-Tan songs, City continued to be poor and so by the 42nd minute they were opened up again and it was 2-0 to Bournemouth at this point City looked like they were just going through the motions.

Then out of the Blue, Le Fondre squared the ball to Kenwyne Jones to make it 2-1 but within less than a minute Bournemouth had made it 3-1 on the stroke of half time.

City were booed off by many of their fans.

Kimbo was replaced at half time for Kadeem Harris and for the next 30 minutes it looked the best decision Slade had ever done

It was all out attack by City, Harris was on fire and in the 48th minute Sean Morrison made it 3-2 and game on

Then in the 50th minute some controversial and farcical refereeing regarding David Marshall ? Thankfully Marshall stayed on

58th minute Bournemouth were now taking control and another shot narrowly went wide of Marshall's goal. Then in the 68th Bournemouth were awarded a free kick and a superb strike by Yann Kermargant made it 4-2

Jones has been replaced by Macheda at this point.

75th minute Bournemouth were through again and another save by Marshall, then bang in the 77th minute a Whitts corner was turned in by Sean Morrison again to make it 4-3

Bournemouth immediately counter attacked and a goal disallowed but yet again Bournemouth would not lie down and clinical finishing by them in the 88th minute made it 5-3

Once again Marshall was called upon to make another save in the 94th minute.

Man of the Match Kadeem Harris, he drove us forward and finally got the City fans excited

City were clapped off at the end.

For me we conceded 5 goals today and could have conceded more and sad to say Bournemouth deserved their win and could have got more.

Am I worried, yes I really am

Now City's next game is a home game against another team promoted from division one Brentford

I'm glad Kadeem was given a chance in the first team, he deserves a shot. Sounds like he took his chance as well, we're crying out for pace.

The squad that bournemouth have is the type that Slade will want tight and hardworking we have a big unbalanced squad that flatters to deceive.

Harris had great pace and we only came alive when he came on

We a need a man with a few backers to get our club back afew backers with bucketfuls of money and backers who have a real love of our club

We lost to a team top of the league and away from home ,bournmouth will probably go up this season if they carry on there good form they are on ,at least we scored 3 goals away from home

Annis, whilst I agree with you about Connolly being the one they attacked but to be fair he's being picked out of position. We have one of the best right backs in the division playing at left back and a quality LB on the bench who would have at least had the pace to cope with the dangerous Pugh. Manga needs to come in for Morrisson , two goals or not, as he offers better organisational skills and a bit of pace.

We desperately need 2 speedy strikers from somewhere as the Bournemouth defence wasn't that clever today but Alf and Macheda were powderpuff.

Why do we have to pick holes in everything the club does. Maybe, just maybe the club played in white because they are launching a brand new white kit and what better way to launch a kit than to have a team actually wear. Just like any other club does when they launch kits.

I am against the rebrand as much as anybody but stop thinking everything the club does is a dog and a personal attack against the fans. most clubs have 3 kits and it was well publicised a 3rd kit was being launched imminently.

Disagree, we have in my opinion,just the wrong manager to get the best out of them.

I could spend all evening pointing out the problem with Slade and the way he manages but I think its clear for everyone to see even if they choose to ignore it. The early points will paper over the cracks for some but not for me. I dread to think what state the squad will end up in once Slade has finished the end of Jan.

That description points to a team well below mid table.

I feel the performances have not justified the results of 2 points a game under Slade. This could all balance out over the festive season and the points average will drop to what the performances reflect. I feel we will drop below the mid table position but I do feel we have enough to avoid a relegation fight.

My fear is we might get complacent with that and drop further. Tan wants to streamline the club and will do that. He is putting faith in Slade bringing in cheap players. Tan is not bothered if we drop a league all two as he has the parachute payments to look forward to. Once they dry up then he will be gone. I just hope we are not in a league below when that happens.

On the way to car heard 2 bournemouth fans saying they won't even have a blue kit next season there be red and white

This is true unfortunately, I hold my hands up I was a reluctant red but it was for the promise of debt to equity and money spent on players and staff. It was a mistake made by many but its never too late.

We now have a bigger debt, worse manager and worse team than when tan took over. And a divided fan base with a horrible red kit and badge.

Afc Wimbledon have done it we may need to do same?
