' Daehli, Ravel or Ralls? '

Who should Cardiff City manager Russell Slade turn to with Anthony Pilkington out injured?

If he keeps the same formation and it is a straight swap then I would like to see Daehli in

Ravel for me, Daehli is not a winger

With less than a month to go until the end of Ravel's loan, Daehli needs to prove himself so we don't sell him!

And ravel is a winger? Didn't redknapp tell a story about how ravel was annoyed when he asked him to do a job out wide?
I think you'd find that matts is a lot more accustomed to that position.
Besides pilks doesn't play like a winger, he is more of a wide midfielder. He doesn't have much pace or trickery.
Unfortunately I think slade will play neither matts or ravel but ralls...

None of the above. Adeyemi centre mid, Whitts wide mid.

Would be happy with that away but at home even though he's not a natural winger, has to be the boy I say has magic in his boots "daehli" would love to see him stake his claim

Daehli is prob our best player along with Manga number 5 (or is that Mambo number 5)?
Ravel is also very good but we are not sure for how long he'll be with us. Imho both should be playing week in week out. As for Ralls I also like him and he wont let us down, but preety obviously he is not in the same class as the others.
But to answer your specific question if we had to choose one to fill infor Pilkington then I would go for Rabel in the short term. Reason being pace on the wing.,

Ravel Morrison for me. Would be disappointed if it was Ralls.

100% Daelhi

Ravel on his way and Ralls not good enough for me.

I would think it's ralls but for me daehli.

What game do you watch? Is improving, works hard and offers qualities defensively and going forward. Will be missed. What about kimbo?

Dæhli is more familiar to the wing role than Ravel, as he plays there for Norway, and excels there.

Would like it to be Daehli.

Willing to bet it will definitely be Ralls selected by Slade.

We are playing Rotherham at home. Whats the point of playing Ralls? How coward is that?

Daehli skill & pace, would tear Rotherham apart :thumbright: :thumbright:

Agreed. Being at home ralls would show a real lack of ambition

Daehli for me but do think he will go with ralls. Think fabio could probably do better job than ralls wide left

At home, I think there is a chance Slade will go for Dæhli, but I´m far from sure. There are other players in the mix as well (Kimbo), or he could alternate with the normal starters, e.g. Whitts or Fabio out wide. Personally, I would like to see Dæhli. I have a clear feeling his form is better now than in the beginning of the season.

I fear Ralls might get the nod which to me is negative at home. I'd like to see Daehli given a run, if he wants to stay and play he should be chomping at the bit.
I also think Kimbo could be in with a decent shout, apparently excellent last night admittedly only in DVP game but the fact he was withdrawn on the hour may mean he had done enough.
Also, watched him in our starting line up on Skysports Gold earlier v Sunderland last year at home, some of his touches were sublime. If he plays and regains his confidence he could be like a new signing. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Lot of talk Kadeem Harris is going to be included in the match day 18 for Saturday.

Slade spoke to him on his own yesterday after the game, must of been the contract and lot of people said he is in contention to be at least on the bench.

Re: ' Daehli, Ravel or Ralls? '

Give Kadeem Harris a try. As much as I like Kimbo,Daehli and Ralls none of them are traditional wingers that would fit Slades system

Re: ' Daehli, Ravel or Ralls? '

Tue Dec 02, 2014 11:33 pm

Daehli for me, but I think that Slade will put Ralls in :(
one can only hope

Re: ' Daehli, Ravel or Ralls? '

Tue Dec 02, 2014 11:38 pm

none of those players are wingers or wide men in the sense that pilkington is.

i suspect daehli will come in for him though.

Re: ' Daehli, Ravel or Ralls? '

Ravel would be my first choice but with a month left and daehli seriously needing game time I'd pick daehli. He works hard and got bags of skill, him and noone could do some damage out wide. So many options though, too many! Daehli, ravel, Kim, burgstaller, Harris, ralls and possibly even fabio! It's ridiculous to think we could have kept all these players fit and happy...

I don't think lack of ambition is the correct phrase, he will pick a player he thinks will work best for the team and try to win the game weather it's ralls or ravel! Just because you might not find him an attractive player doesn't mean Slade lacks ambition when he plays it just means he thinks he's the man for that role.

It kind of is, if he plays ralls it means he isn't planning on positive attacking football. I'd be happy to see either matts or ravel. But I think it should be matts if only because I can't see him staying if he can't even get a start when slades first choice wingers are out with injury. I think that would prompt him to push for a move. Ravel will be gone anyway in a few weeks.

Ralls is nowhere near good enough for this division...very ordinary and lacks pace..Division 1 at best... would like to see
Daehli , kim or Harris given a go ....Rotherham are struggling at the moment and we need to get at them.
