I thought it was London only? Bristol would be much easier.

Sorry it is Luton not Bristol, however there is a rumour going around that you can get a £210 non-direct flight somewhere

quite interested in this myself, can you book the whole lot from corky?
Tue Nov 18, 2014 7:26 pm
I'm not 100% sure but I believe these are the options...
Easyjet from Luton/Gatwick direct to Tel Aviv
ElAL airways from Heathrow direct to Tel Aviv
KLM from anywhere inc Cardiff non direct and probably cost a fortune
Tue Nov 18, 2014 7:32 pm
Ive just looked on expedia, just out of interest, you can fly from London Gatwick via Ukraine on a 9hr journey for £307.54 return, thats the cheapest!
Oh and British airways fly direct from Heathrow £515.96 return
Tue Nov 18, 2014 8:12 pm
Ill be there Cannot Wait!

If you want an exciting little trip, try flying to Cyprus, then take a ferry to Haifa, I did it a few years back, the ferry would only cost about £40 and takes a day. You would need to check if it's still operating, as when the political situation changes they tend to suspend it

interesting... where in cyprus does the ferry go from? as the airport in paphos seems to be the other end of the island.

Then you'd have to go from Hafia to Tel Aviv as everyone is staying there and then back to Hafia for the game.
Is there any ferries that go to Tel Aviv ?

No ferries go to Tel Aviv, Haifa is the port, bus from Haifa to Tel Aviv takes 2 hours. Look at it another way, if you fly to Tel Aviv you have to get back and fore from Haifa. If I was going I would base myself in Netanya, much nicer place and as your over there make sure you make a visit to Jerusalem for obvious reasons
