' SO MATT DAEHLI TONIGHT '

Wed Nov 12, 2014 9:44 pm

Our Club say he is injured, No Club doctors say he is,No Norwegian Doctors say he is injured and Guess What Matt Daehli himself says he is fit :thumbright: :thumbright:

For a Friendly v Estonia and Daehli plays 57 minutes :thumbright:

Daehli was voted MOTM for Norway after not playing football for a month :thumbright: :thumbright:

Surely if there was any doubts over his fitness, would he be risked for a friendly?

I will tell you now Matt Daehli has the perfect attitude of a player,a pity the rest never, even David Marshall said similar last week :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf:

I Believe 100% there is much more to all this, please open your eyes, this kid has done nothing wrong :thumbright: :thumbright:

He played less than an hour for a team beaten by Estonia. Inspirational player.

Slade has contradicted himself a number of times already, it was obvious he wasnt injured.

Another manager who thinks the fans are stupid.

Less than an hour, was man of the match but guess it is his fault that the team lost.

Or was he the bright spot in the team ?

Not sure Carl, but not really sure I am getting the love in for him. Nice lad but has been diabolical when he has played this season, far less impressive in the championship than he was in the top flight, was hoping he would be as influential for us as taarabt was QPR getting out of this league 4 seasons ago.

So you think having 3 CB's on the bench is a better option?

Good job we didn't concern against brum as our attacking options were awful.

Stephan Johansen by far the most important man in the team got an hour. Only a training match which they should have won by more than one goal. The important stuff is all Sunday, But Daehli looked like he had a point to prove :ayatollah:

Slade is a yes man and will do what he is told to do all the way from KL, he will play the players he is instructed to play from the man who picks our team, the Big Boss Man :bluescarf:

From VG`s ratings:
Norway's best. Combined fine with Høgli on the left in the first half. Many positive engagements. Brilliant pass to Soederlunds great chance just after the break. Replaced with Ødegaard half an hour before the end.

Allan, Please Mate, Realise its all bollocks.

Daehli played in an International friendly, if there was for one second any truth, Daehli would not have played.

I honestly believe Tan has nothing to do with this, just my gut feeling. Fabio was an Ole signing, the strikers more or less are Ole's signings.

It is rather unusual that he doesn't get a look in on the bench. I look at our bench and I don't see anyone with the potential to make an impact. Guerra I wouldn't mind being on the bench.. I don't expect these 2 to walk into our team because I don't see what they've done to warrant much in the team but they are the type of players to push our players for a place in the team. Maynard offers not much competition and if your playing 5 minutes or 15 minutes off the bench I want to see these players just giving a bit of energy, trying to get on the ball and Guerra would do that more than Maynard.

I don't know why Slade is hiding this whole injury saga to cover the truth he is raring to go because he was happy to slate the fitness levels and I expected him to be bit more honest in this situation.

I hope Daelhi just gets on the bench for a lot of our games coming up.

Only thing I am picking up is Slade is too stubborn and needs to realise Daelhi has that extra bit of quality when he has the ball at his feet. He has his negatives but the potential he has makes me criticise him more this season because he has so much ability on the ball and I know he can offer more than he does and he has so many gears in him to be better and better.

He's not injured, it's pretty obvious Slade has been told not to play him nor any other Scandinavian player that Ole signed, i wonder why.

I don't care what he does for Norway. He hasn't played well for us this season under EITHER manager!

Hrs had is chance this season and he's been Shit ,I dont understand the love in for him he's very light weight for the championship ,he might have potential but we need strong players now not in a few years ,slade has said that mats has been injured and has an on going hip problem also that he asked Norway not to play him tonight but they did anyway

Agreed, everything else is just rumour mongering. The simple fact is that he hasn't been good enough up to now.

If he does well after getting a chance then fine but right now, given the the choice between Matts and Ravel, it would be Ravel for me every time.

I am slightly more surprised he hasn't been on the bench but maybe these public comments of discontent don't help and may well be his agents way of stirring up interest :? Slade is big on togetherness and I'm not convinced Matts is helping himself.

I just don't see why people are that worried about him leaving on current form. I hope he proves me wrong though :ayatollah:

He played as a sub for a sub under Slade. Getting benched for three center backs. You might want to stick your head in the sand, but no one has played him out of the team. If any, name them and when, and i will stand corrected. The truth is Slade now lied about him 5 times making excuses not to include him in the team. The national team physios cleared him, so i guess he is just as fit as he says he is.. When did he have his chance? Under Ole? When the entire team was shit? He should have been making subs for Noone and Pilkington, and then he would have got his chance.. Ridiculous!

you can't have watched any games this season cause he's been hopeless ,shoved off the ball ,lossing the ball ,not tracking back once he's lost the ball ,ffs I think you need to get your head out of the sand he's been Shit
