Is it a wonder we sit in a shit position when we have playing this cart horse up front. He is on the same amount of goals as rudy gestede ffs so that doesn't make him a quality striker now does it.
I ain't saying kenwynne is all to blame because there has been lots of different problems with our season so far...

But my point is with him up from he is so lazy and not mobile enough offers no runs or movement off the ball, it's far too easy to lump it up to him and play shit football in the final 3rd because of his lack of movement.
We need someone up there making runs so we can play around teams and beat them with good sharp football.
With kenwynne up there we have no chance imo.

I think Kenwyne has been good so far this season, he's far from a pacey striker but that's not the type of player he is. He's big, strong, great in the air and wins every header, he just needs a pacey striker along side him. We wouldn't have beat Sheffield Wednesday if it wasn't for him.

All too often he falls over claiming he's been hard done by, then lays on the ground with the game going on around him.

I'm not his biggest fan but he's been decent this season. Doesn't do a lot other than win headers though

This is what i mean, there are too many players in the team that have got only one good attribute. We have got Peter Whittingham playing week in and week out, just because of his set piece deliveries - that are great at times but pony at others. Then we have Kenwyne Jones playing week in and week out, just because he is good in the air. Sorry but we need to have more players in the team that have a number of quality attributes, instead of some players who only have one good attribute.

Ravel was running down the left wing friday while kenwynne casually jogging just passed the half way line no intent to bust a gut to try and make a run to get a goal scoring chance, that's just one example. f*cking terrible.

Yeh he has scored goals in the premiership but that was when he was in his prime and he is way passed that hence why he isn't playing in the premiership now.
And he has never been clinical in the premiership and scored bucket loads of goals, Adam le fondre scored more goals than him in any season in the premiership, does that mean he is top class aswell and should be in the team week in week out?

The reason I said this is I really don't think jones is gonna be our first choice striker this season, because his movement and finishing simply isn't good enough and I can't understand how anyone can think it is?
I think slade will identify this and pick a fit rejuvenated macheda or guerra or even maynard.
I really do think we will struggle this season if jones is our main striker.
