got to give him a chance (he can't do worse than Young/Gabbs)

Nowhere near my first choice for a manager, but need a new manager be4 the weekend. Players will have to prove themselves to new manager so will hopefully get a reaction. Also if hes going to resign and claim last night he really wants job give him ago can't be any worse than we have had this season.

Will support every manager but I think it highlights the club's lack of ambition. Another gamble.

I can't see us doing anything in the near future. :o

Doesn't mean it has to be excepted !

He is under contract and if they want orient can refuse it and either make him stay or make him sit out the rest of the contract

Trying to find a positive;

A good old fashioned, proper football manager, not one of these Johnny come lately's! 20 years experience in the dugout!

We have to back Slade, no matter if he isn't our choice... Everyone deserves a chance, so get behind him!

Let the roller coaster ride begin!

f**k..... Real lack of ambition! I hope they have got this right! I expect quite a few players to leave in January! Prob for the best!

As a welsh wolves supporter, I always have a passing interest in how the welsh clubs do especially Cardiff as I love the City. I think you could do far worse than Slade, in league one last season Leyton Orient were probably the 2nd best team after Wolves that I saw, they played a high tempo passing football and he built the team with very little money.
When we appointed Kenny Jackett many of our fans were disappointed and not fully behind him, now he's shown us what he's about the fans love him down there.
Hope it works out for you and I think he'll do a good job, has learned his trade in the lower leagues and deserves a bigger job IMO.

All of this. Just wish people would give him a chance, we could have done a lot worse, and we have to let him work the system and not expect immediate groundbreaking changes to be up the top of the table by next month.

Yep

If leyton orient feel he has been tapped up which they would have a good argument for seeing as they refused permission 3 times , they can suspend his contract and go to a tribunal instead of just releasing him , the league can then refuse the registration to the new club in this case Cardiff

71.1 Subject to the provisions of Regulation 64, Clubs, Officials, Players and Agents (and their respective employees and agents) shall not directly or indirectly induce or attempt to induce a Registered Player of another Club or a Premier League club to leave for any purpose whatsoever the employment of the Club with which he is registered or cease to be so registered. Any infringement of this Regulation shall be dealt with in cases involving only Football League Clubs by the Football Disciplinary Commission and in cases involving Premier League clubs by The Football Association which shall be entitled to take such action and impose such penalties against the Club, Official or Player of the Club or Premier League club or the Agent as they may in the circumstances think fit. Any penalty imposed on a Club or a Premier League club may include the refusal to register for the Club, guilty of the infringement, any Player whom they consider has been so induced.

Re: Russell Slade has resigned

People are writing slade of because he only managed lower league teams, so what? He's got years of experience been linked with west Brom etc, he has done wonders at orient granted they have started this season badly but he's proven he can manage teams with little money, he just needs a team to give him a chance at this level, why not us? Hardly nobody thought malky would be good appointment but it was, we can't expect top managers to just be interested in us, we ain't as big of club as we like to think we are
