Throwing a book is almost as bad as throwing a brick. A large dictionary could do untold damage.

In all seriousness the idiots that did it need banning from football and a large fine.

I agree, a disgrace but while we're commenting can we discuss the language/behaviour used by our fans towards their 'keeper tonight. I took two of my kids to the game. They've seen City home and away plenty of times and I'm honestly not precious but tonight some of our fans perhaps need to think about how they represent themselves. Chanting and swearing is fine - it's a football match, after all, but vile, incessant abuse gets wearing after 5 minutes and for kids it's pretty traumatic.

I DONT TAKE MY CHILD (12) ON AWAY TRIPS, I DONT GO ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE DISGUSTING LANGUAGE AND BEHAVIOUR OF OUR FANS, WHO SWEAR AND SCREAM LIKE THEY ARE AT A LUNATIC ASYLUM! NO RESPECT FOR THEIR FELLOW FANS...AND THATS WHY THEY ADORED "THEIR DEAR MALKY".... :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Oi be careful what you say on here, there are many that will jump to these cocks defence. I was told to go and watch a Welsh League side by JamesC, because I have posted on more than one occasion about some of the vile chants (I have probably been to more away games than the veteran supporter that is James has been to overall city games)

A couple of years ago at Chelsea away I warned a youngster about breaking the seats (he threw one in to our own fans and hit an old fella on the head) only to be threatened by two forty something thugs for doing so. There is no doubt about it we have some real scum following us and the sooner we can rid of that the better, but I'm doubtful that will ever happen, with grown up thugs and keyboard warriors to defend them.

I've just spoke to some of these hard boys from port vale and they are saying that Cardiff fans were chanting "we're goona rape your kids" I don't believe that this is true but if it is there is absolutely no place in football for this but still no excuse to brick the buses! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Nah didnt hear anything of such. Was just the usual singling out one fat person in a pink top in the home end and one fat guy who had his top off. All them chants. You did get the odd shout out which you cringe at though

All the vile comments were from a small group sat behind the goal and was directed at the goalkeeper Neal who sporting clapped our fans when he came out for second half and to have the barrage of abuse yelled at him by a group of brave boys who had sniffed the barmaids apron or some powder was totally out of order.the man abuser was no kid more of grown up guy of 30 for years keepers have been barracked by fans but last night it was way beyond barracking.Even then at the end Neal clapped the city supporters at the end of game.Someone must know these individuals and should half quiet word in their ears and explain that with women and kids around this behaviour is not acceptable

Sorry mate I think your overreacting those lads were just having a laugh and the launguage was nothing worse than what you here down the Cardiff City Stadium. I was having a chat with a couple of them and they were all sound lads. There was young kids behind me no more than 12 years old with worse launguage!

What's going on here........firstly, I strongly suggest that nobody takes younger kids and sit amongst the more raucous elements of the city supporters. Secondly, I heard nothing more then the usual stuff from them and even I did sing we'll always be blue etc. There was nothing more to be bothered about really, (albeit they did go on a bit especially that Barnum Bobb stuff). If the Coaches turned left out of the ground and went up to T junction then I probably saw the kids who threw the rock standing close to an alley a couple of hundred metres up the Hamil Road. There were about 5 of them all about 13 or 14 years old with cropped haircuts. Wouldn't recognise them again but there were loads of Vale fans about to be honest, some must have witnessed it, if they were the ones. On a football note, Macheda, Guerra, Ralls, John, Cala and Harris were excellent.

I've got a pretty bad problem when it comes to swearing as I do it without realising... But, if you're not a fan of swearing and don't want to hear it, then football games aren't for you!

Didn't even know about this until today, walked past the bus to the car after the match. Tossers. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Ah ok. So if you don't approve of foul, abusive language, then you shouldn't attend football matches. Brilliant. Just glad my moral compass isn't the same as some posters on here.

No one is saying that! Abusive language shouldn't be tolerated, but at a football game you shouldn't expect anything else but it! Comes naturally with football, especially in an away end!
