Keep the same staring 11 v Wigan this Tuesday night?
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=145802If he does, it will be the first time ever in his Cardiff City reign?
Will be interesting if any changes, would you change the team?

Tough call.
He does like rotation, would like to see Pilkington.
He did say he will pick squad to beat the opposing team.
I would say he,ll change it

I doubt it, because we have quality players waiting and it would make sense to make changes to give some players a game while fresh, and some tired players a rest.
I would like to see no more than two players change per game though for continuity, and then use early subs to keep them fresh.
I think he will make at least 2 changes, Gunner and Guerra both looked really good when they came on too, Ole has so many options

Well burgstaller had a stinker yesterday so his place may be up for grabs

He will change it Annis I have no doubt about that and at the very least Morrison will replace Hudson. Wigan have better forward players than any we have seen so far this season and as OGS saw Morrison play well against them on the opening Saturday and he keeps on saying he needs to rest Hudson because of his lack of football last season this change is easy to call.
Pilkington will make the bench, at the very least, probably replace Kim but if he does start then Burgstaller will replace Kim.

I just read Ole's interview after the game, he said the central defenders are forming a good partnership, but we will sometimes need to make changes for tired legs, I reckon you are right, there is one change, and agree again he discusses Pilkington so maybe another ???
At least one change, probably two ......

I think he'll make two changes bringing in pilkington & a different striker Guerra or Maynard instead of Le fondre.

I'd drop Burgstaller he was crap we looked much better and more confident when Gunnarson come on. Would like to see pilkington aswell so maybe put Daehli on the bench and pilkington on the wing
Sun Aug 17, 2014 8:34 am
I´d like to se Guerra and Pilkington starting. Based on performance, there´s no reason to change the back four, unless Hudson or Connolly really need a rest. Connolly played 3 x 90 minutes in a week, so he might have heavy legs on Tuesday.

He has to play Pilkington and stick him up against Andrew Taylor.
I like a settled side but Ole would be right to get more width from a dedicated winger.

Oh no!!! Ole's going to include some new signing in his line up and is changing his team!! Despite the opposition being harder!! Damn you Ole you tinkerer!!
Sun Aug 17, 2014 8:58 am
I think he will rest Dhaeli and Le Fonde myself!!
Sun Aug 17, 2014 8:59 am
i belive he will change the side, a win is a win....NEED decent centre half, better sides we might struggle...But a good midfield, front players did well CANNOT belive Marshall is still with us....GREAT GUY......Good start keep it going

Why this sarcasm and constant indignation? What´s wrong with a good discussion?

Because after everyone wanting Pulis to take over the helm, why can't I? I'd happily be able to debate why rotation is good.

Can't wait to see Craig noone back, he will continue to rip it up like he did last season.
Sun Aug 17, 2014 9:51 am
Don't think that it is necessary for rotation atm but I can see Ole putting Morrison in for Connolly.

The answer is easy Dve. It's because this guy wears blinkers & can't see any fault with OGS.
'Everyone wanting Pulis to take over the helm' LOL!!!!
I've had my doubts but definitely want Ole to stay & be given his chance. He deserves it.

He has a point though there are always undertones with people wanting OGS to fail and if not fail just waiting to jump on even the smallest of issues.
He is obviously seen as Tans choice and he suffers because of this.

Morrison will come in for Hudson - Ole doesn't want to knacker Huds after injury prone season last year.
Pilkington will come in for Burgstaller - Burgstaller has played a lot in the past 8 days. Pilkington has had a full pre-season and ready to rock.
The changes are justified. I hope people don't get on Ole's case for 'tinkering'. Making tweaks when the fixture list is loaded will give us an advantage toward the later stages of the season. We will have fresh bodies and everyone else will be knackered.

I don´t think we´ll see the same amount of changes this season. As I said in another tread, it´s more tempting to change a losing team than a winning one. Some of the tinkering last season was also due to injuries and players obviously out of form.

Every new manager on this club would obviously have to be Tan´s choice, so hating Ole of that reason is of course ridiculous.
Still, Ole cannot expect people´s trust based on other things than results. I do agree though, that some posters only show up where there is something to complain about while keeping silent when thing goes well. But you can´t put every person raising a critical voice in that box. Claiming that everyone on this forum is negative.. see, that´s just too... negative.

Pilkington & Gunner in instead of Burgstaller & Dhaeli for me with Whitts out wide

Who's saying rotation ain't good?

Don't think he will make too many changes especially not in defense as they are playing quite well at the moment.
We don't defend well on dead balls maybe Morrison would be an asset as it gives us the height but on the other hand would you want to throw a new player in against a rival with no understanding of his defensive partners? It could be quite risky.
Can see Pilkington being involved, but Ole doesn't seem to have the habit of throwing new players straight into the team so he will probably come of the bench.
