What the fooking hell is that what the fooking hell is that

That's where I'm sitting next season (in my blue top). Had a letter from the club yesterday, confirming that they are moving us to another block in the middle.

Looks very smart!

Dint think it would work thoose colour s but it does ,if we were playing in blue at home most fans would like the contrast

Looks fantastic

It works purely because single colour stands look so bland.
If our home shirts were still blue and away red, there wouldn't be such a backlash against the stand colours.

looks good

I agree with that - always liked us playing in a red away strip, although I think my favourite away strip is white with blue trim/shorts like we had with Kenny Miller up top

As much as I hate to say it, the red seating above the Blue does work

It does make te ground look a bit more interesting. If we have to have Red, under the Tan regime going forward, then if he just changed the the home kit to Blue and Red away and with the compromise badge, then I believe that 90% of supporters would be happy

If someone had told me, way back in the days when I stood on the bob bank against Hartlepool United in a crowd of under 2000 people, in a crumbling Ninian Park, that in 2014 we would have a state of the art stadium with stands on either side of the pitch which are essentially two three-tier stands, and a capacity of some 33,000+ all seated, I would have laughed bwah ha ha hah ha in your face.
Im grateful for the the huge strides Ive witnessed in my clubs fortunes.

Just sit in it with your full blue ensemble on. Turns the stand blue and avoids the neccesity of time off work for a court appearance.

I gotta say I do like the contrast I think all blue would've made it too bland. Agree with most if our home kit was blue and away kit was red not many people would have an issue with the colour of this stand.

In reality the contrast isn't unpleasant, although personally I find the Ayatollah symbols a little 'cheap' and slightly condescending when a simple 'wave' design (as elsewhere in the ground) would have sufficed

the middle section has been started today ive just come back from there

and yes there red.
got to say (apart from the red) the stands f*cking awesome seeing it in the flesh
Thu Jul 10, 2014 1:22 pm
I have to admit it looks a lot better than what I'd imagined it to look like and whether we like it or not the red is now a part of our history.
I don't know how we are ever going to get back to being a blue club now as the owner is determined to press ahead with his plans regardless.

Looks great!!! Blue And Red combined is the way forward maybe?????

The only thing different I would have liked to have seen on the new stand is a seamless integration between the rooflines of new and old stands. Im sure something could have been done so that the roofline was a continuous one, even if it had been along the lines of angled joining pieces.
Thu Jul 10, 2014 1:31 pm
Do people genuinely think this looks good or are you just trying to be positive ?
In my eyes it look pathetic and I'm sure every other fucker that visits our stadium will think the same.
Truly embarrasing, even in blue the ayatollah input would just look embarrassing, whoever designed this must have been the same people/person who designed our badge. Primary school children by the looks of it.
