A forum for all things Cardiff City

As everyone knows the home kit is red and Classic Sports in Ely are manufacturing the new kit, Classic Sports are having to delay local orders as a result of the production of our kit.
Instead of Classic Sports name appearing on the kit it will instead be Cosway Sports.
The Badge I am told is Grey and not coloured like previous seasons.
Images released next week.

I noticed on the training shorts the badge is greyed out. Still looks like shit but not as bad.
Not surprised we won't be seeing images till next week. Classic Cardiff City. Especially as they were supposed to be out Monday or Tuesday, and we've got a game in just a few days
Sat Jul 05, 2014 6:39 pm
We have a game Monday so the images should be released in the afternoon before the game surely? The training gear actually doesn't look that bad. Does that mean red shirt, black shorts?
Sat Jul 05, 2014 6:46 pm
Until it's blue I've no interest in what the kit looks like or who makes it.
Still 100% behind the team and Ole though. Season ticket renewed and looking forward to the season in what is always a great league

So the bluebird on the beermat is now grey

It just gets more of a joke.....
Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:31 pm
grey badge on a red shirt, with no sign of blue.. Tan been very smart there!
just proves his compromise suggestion is going to be another bluff..
Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:31 pm
we've all seen the training gear... but surely the badge on the actual team wear is not grey for heaven sake
Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:33 pm
Until it's blue with a bluebird on the crest I won't buy it.

are people genuinely crying because the badge MAY be grey to maybe match a colour scheme? the dragon isn't red, shall we kick off about that too?
we're cardiff city, we moan to the end

Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:39 pm

Not crying about it just questioning it , I know Southampton did it on their away kit last season
Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:45 pm
I hope the fan base likes the shorts this time. Fu..... Waste of time last season all that voting because they weren't that bad in real life. I for one will miss our carp badge. Now has its place in the football archives.

Would be very odd to have a greyed out badge.
I assume our badge still remains the full colour version we currently have. This is just greyed out to go better with the shirt.
There's a nice little number in the middle of the fifth row of their website. Looks familiar and would do nicely.

Photo shoot is scheduled for tomorrow so likely images to be released Monday/Tuesday
Red/Blue/White is Home/Away/3rd kit colours as I said in previous post.
Main sponsor is eCosway now rather than Visit Malaysia.
Kit being sourced from a factory in Turkey that I am told is of a very high quality to what Classic normally produce

... Or we could buy some smashing blue kit elsewhere. Grey badge? Doesn't matter because it isn't the badge we all loved.
What matters is what goes on pitch-side. Get behind the boys and let them know that the 12th man is fighting fit.

Are you sure Classic Sorts are manufacturing it? Later in this thread it says the kit is being sourced from Turkey rather than being made in this country.
If its being made in Turkey and Cosway Sports will be the name on it , in what way are Classic Sports involved?

Protest ideas to bring back our carp badge. All our history and tradition once again just trodden on!!!!!!!

I bet whoever told you that just watched the video of Ole wearing the new training shirt with the greyed out badge. I highly doubt that means the badge will be greyed out on the home shirt.
None of that matters to me though for as long as our colours are red, I'm only interested in the blue shirt.

So how is Aston these days Jord? Loves the wrestling I hear......

f**k Vincent Tan and Classic Sports, whatever the new kit may look like it will not look like Cardiff City
Respect to Alfie Sherwood, Thomas C and Cal, fans that have done the business for fans that actually want to wear their traditional colours with pride.

Our shirt and badge has been changed to a alien identity you bellend. Let's pretend everything is okay, no let's get f*cking real we're being taken the piss of, grow a set instead of making excuses.

I'll support team & Ole 100% but haven't bought anything in shop since we got the red/mickey mouse badge.
Merchandise sales must have been poor last year and I'd imagine would be worse this coming season.
I still can't see what the rebrand has added to ccfc either in terms of revenue or anything else.
Our biggest risk to on pitch matters will be off pitch matters. The red just gives us fans the ammunition when things are going bad.
The rebrand has done nothing.
