Palace ready to pull the trigger

Sunday 29th June 2014

Crystal Palace In For Cardiff Striker

Palace and Cardiff are hardly on each others Christmas card list after 'spygate' last season, for most this was a storm in a teacup and certainly something and nothing mind!

In spite of that, and a relationship between the two sides that is hardly great, Palace could be looking to almost rub salt into the wounds of the Welsh outfit if the Mirror is correct with a report that Fraizer Campbell has become the latest name of interest to Tony Pulis.

Palace have been linked to many, many players this summer though of course....

A clause in the once capped England international's contract with Cardiff does allow him to leave for a £1m or less, Leicester City have activated this but it is said Pulis wants to 'hijack' the deal and bring the 26-year-old to Selhurst Park?

Campbell would be the type of player that Pulis would like, and I would say Palace fans would like too as he is a hard working player that gives his all, so maybe this one had some legs in it and is not just another name plucked out of thin air!

In other news former Palace man Jonathan Parr could be reunited with his former Palace boss Dougie Freedman at Bolton after he, it was Freedman of course that brought the Norwegian international to Selhurst Park in he first place, admitted an interest in the free agent following his release this summer.

I wish Frazier would go to a newly promoted side instead of palarse. I begrudge them signing one of our players. I pop onto their forum every so often and the fans have a crappy attitude towards Cardiff. Maybe we can teach them a lesson next year if we are promoted or if they are relegated. Or maybe we will get them in the cup. I question dikachoi signing. Why would they let us sign him if they hate us with so much contempt? Maybe they know something about they player and are hiding it. I know he loses the ball quite a lot. Maybe they let us sign him to soften us up for the Frazier deal? I don't trust any dealings with them to be honest.

Aw I did not realise that m8. I bet their fans are furious about that. It makes you think how bad their club must be because dikachoi chose championship over renewing premier league team. Haha they must be gutted.

Ah okay m8 well I think this topic is worth promoting. I would love Frazier to read these posts so he realises how loved he is and will continue to be if he stays. Stay at Cardiff Frazier we are going places and have big ambitions.

Indeed F**k palace...They would be back in championship now if it was not for Pulis rescuing them. It was him that deserves the credit. They were after all favourites to drop back down at beginning of the season. We got much better team and club than them. No comparison. Horrible noisy bunch with silly cheer leaders. And it's cruel chaining a bird of prey to a post amongst idiot fans like palace. That bird must be traumatised. Someone should report it to the RSPB.

Palace fan here in peace

We aren't that bothered about KG, he's pretty poor and I almost guarantee you will all hate him after a few months.

In regards to signing Campbell, I hope we don't, I'd much rather see gayle get a chance, he hardly played last season and still scored 8 goals.

you come in peace? I always get suspicious when someone highlights they come in peace.

O yeah why do you think we will hate KG in a few months? Come on spill the beans if you know something about him that we don't !

I guarantee you that we will get more out of KG than you ever did. We are a much bigger club than you anyway. We have just experienced a blipp this season but will be back and stronger for it. We will give you a two finger wave as we pass you in the opposite direction as you will be relegated and we will be promoted at end of new season haha.
We are Cardiff city...we'll always be blue.

You will hate kg because he is bloody useless, a big fat lump who sits in front of the back 4 and can't pass or controll a ball to save his life, I was trying to be subtle about it but I'm over the moon we got rid of the guy.

If you don't believe me then fair enough but wait until Xmas and then I'll come back on here and see.

I don't see why you,ve got such a chip on your shoulder, I would think after last season you would be a bit more humble, I'd be amazed if you promoted Ole, he will be gone by Xmas and you,ll be mid table.

If he was fat then it must have been to do with your pansy palace training regime. We train our Cardiif players rigulously. That is why we will get more out of KG.
You probably have your pretty little cheer leaders on the side of the training pitch and thats why KG had no concetration in controlling the ball.
I don't have a chip on my shoulder pal ..you are mixing up ego with rational confidence. I am dead confident we will be promoted. I sense you worrying of our return already.

Morning chaps. Another Palace fan here and I actually like Cardiff.

KG left us for more money. We offered him a new contract but he decided to turn it down. He was also told that he wouldn't be a first team regular so the moves suits him.

I'm a fan of KG, when he was absent we lost the mettle in midfield. He's a no f*cking about midfielder, built like a tank and channels the power well. Unlike the other Palace fan who's posted, I think you'll appreciate his work ethic and the occassional goals he scores.

Good luck for the new season, hope to see you soon whichever league it may be, Cardiffs one of my favourite away days since Ninian Park. Also, good luck with your campaign to get your true colour back, megalomaniacs shouldn't have a place in British football.

I also like KG, and think he'll do well for Cardiff. Hard to see what he does sometimes, but we used to miss him when he wasn't in the team. Gives you a bit of solidity in midfield.

No longer really a first choice for us, so I can understand his determination to leave. We offered him a fair sum for a back up midfielder, he wants to be seen and paid as first choice. Wish the bloke good luck, will clap him if we get you in the cup.

yeah yeah woteva
by the way you should never wish to see us in the cup. We are cup specialists. We got to the Carling cup final and almost beat Liverpool in the final you know! So Palace will be a walk in the park for us and no you will not clap him if he scores the winner.

Maybe hostile would have been a better word. Of course I don't think you've overpaid. We offered him a wage, you offered him a wage & a signing on fee so financially it works out better for him. I also expect he's been promised regular football. He's a true pro so he wants to be on the pitch so that would be another plus for him.

Yeah well thanks for seeing it different
Your club are getting relegated next year anyway. You were lucky to pull out of the relegation when you did. I followed your stats on the after38.com site. They were pretty aweful. You were lucky to do the double on us to. pure luck.
We were unlucky.
Next time we meet will be different i guarantee you. You will mbe hoping for no more than a 3-0 loss.
You got a toy football club

Losers will be exposed soon enough
