Are you serious?!!!
Football is a lot more than being fast and being able to jump high!
Ronaldo is a top player but his vision and decision making isn't on the same planet as Messi.
I'd say Messi chooses the right option 9 times out of 10 whereas as Ronaldo does about 4 times out of 10 and this usually results in shooting.
Messi sees a far clearer picture of the game whereas Ronaldo uses his superior athleticism to for so much of his game.
If Ronaldo wasn't quick and strong he wouldn't be half the player he is.
Messi is the best player in the world and will possibly be the best ever but Maradona is still my number one.

Yet Ronaldo averages more assists per season. Ronaldo's pace, power, skills, work rate, everything makes him the best player in the planet. Watching Messi this season he's been shit even before his injuries

Thats the way I see it mate, Messi's intelligence is different gravy, plays with pictures in his head and as you said 9 times out of 10 he picks the correct one. To be fair to Ronaldo his pace and strength his through his desire and hard work, the guys incredible.

Something doesn't seem right at the moment. Whether it's the pressure of living up to Maradona 86, this sickness thing or his form seemed to dip when the tax evasion thing reared it's head.

Seems strange, one of the things I admired most about him was his work rate, he's always been like a dog with a bone, never give up attitude, but lately he doesn't seem to have the same hunger.

Even so he scored 2 goals in 2 matches so far. Ronaldo has had less of an impact so far. Apart from that cross tonight he has been anonymous.

He's clearly not fit though.
Ronaldo for me as he's proven it for every team he's played in whether it be United, Madrid or Portugal.

That's the best argument on this thread for me
Both incredible players but RONALDO has played in top teams in different countries and that for me just gives him the edge

Messi has been with Barca pretty much his whole career. Im sure Messi would be more than capable of playing just as well in any other country.
If Ronaldo was at Real as a youngster would he have ever played in England?
