' VERY IMPORTANT REGARDING CCFC STADIUM? '

I have had a number of fans tell me in the past couple of days that our club are NOT opening the new tier for next season and they are relocating the fans, up to 700 City fans,who have purchased season tickets for up there to other parts of the ground.

Has anyone else heard this ?

Is it just gossip or is it true ?

Maybe Steve Borley can clarify it on here or if anyone who follows him on twitter could ask him.

If the new tier is empty then will it seem we play in a red stadium to people who don't know better. Maybe a clever move by dictator Tan? Or am i reading too much into it?

Makes sense to keep it closed, because they ain't gonna fill it week in week out.
There will obviously be overheads if they use it...

I would expect a move like that from the madman, Trust me he hates us more than anyone realises. He will stop at nothing to be the meglomaniac. Its all about saving face. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Better viewing? well they'll be able to watch the match on seven oaks park, so yes probable will have better viewing

Good idea really to save on unnecessary stewarding and kiosk staff. If by miracle we are regularly pulling 23,000+ throughout the season, there's no reason why they couldn't open it on a one off for the big games at the end of the season

maybe the cost of stewarding etc....easy option is to keep it closed

I think it was a silly idea to expand so early, if we had become a stable premier league club then 100% go ahead and expand I'm sure consistently competing in the top league would see us draw in crowds of 33,000+ but to do it in a season when we were never sure of our fate was daft in my opinion, what's wrong with waiting ? what's wrong with making sensible decisions at the right times ?

Ian, now that would be interesting as Steve Borley and Steve Davies have both set they are Red and Steve Davies has said they had already gone through customs to get here.
