Its a pathetic tactic used by some on here but it is what the cyber world allows them to get away with.

It seems some people forget that Tan was welcomed as a saviour to the club, at the beginning.
We were in blue, and he paid the bills, and funded a new squad (cheap, but funded by him)
This is all Before the rebrand idea was released. So I think bringing old photos out of fans with the Malaysian flag is talken out of context to "fit an agenda" (as people here like to say)
My personal belief is that if Tan hadn't come in, we wouldn't have gone under, because the club was already a promising prospect for someone with a few quid about them.
Capital of Wales, playing in the English leagues (uniqueness of the club)
The picture you paint is one of a divided club tans created it and its not right at all is it.
We as fans should be united and we're not for me tan has ruined us.
Big City which is a tourist destination
Cardiff have won a major cup (1927) and had been in another FA cup final in more recent times
We had been pushing for promotion and although we couldn't take that last step, we were considered one of the championships big boys,
We had been to Wembley more times than any other club except Chelsea.
brand spanking, fresh new stadium
A lot of positives there, and yes, as I said, they would have had to do what Tan did, and front up some cash, but there was so much potential with the club, with a willing investor.
Now obviously, before anyone says it, I agree, nobody came forward until VT was brought on board. But how do we actually know what goes on behind the scenes? It's all conjecture, and we'll never know, just like we'll never know if we would have survived if Malky was left in charge.
We just need to accept that, we are in this situation, there will always be divided opinion, and that's fine, it's good for debate (until it gets personal/even violent)
The fans who want to wear blue, and hold up their flags at 19:27 should be allowed to do so without opposition, the ones who want to show they're grateful for Tan's investment despite the rebrand, should also be allowed to hold those views. Regardless of whether people agree or not. We aren't always going to agree, what we need to do though, despite whether you are for Tan or against him, is support Ole and the lads on the pitch. Thats why I go, that's why I sing, and that's what I love.

james
why do people keep saying if tan had not come in someone else would have.
for the umpteenth time i was in court when we were facing a winding up order by the revenue. there was no one else and without that bank draft and letter of intent fron tan produced in court we would have disapeared off the face of the earth as a football league club.
thats the whole reason i gave tan the benefit of the doubt for a long time because he saved the club that day and there can be no dispute about that.
the rest of your post is on the money

I still don't buy the Red or dead thing, as again, this came later.
Tan was heroic for what he did at the very beginning.
Unfortunately I don't know the full inside details, it's just to me, we should have a bright prospect of a club.
And ok, let's say there wasn't an immediate buyer, and when there was opposition to the rebrand, Tan actually went down the road of keeping his promise. He originally said he would walk away but leave us in good hands.
We are then openly asking for a new owner/major investor - would this not then have maybe attracted someone else? On paper, we are very marketable without being turned red

Hardly, read the post... I defend anyone who supports the red/Tan to be allowed to hold that view, as it is their own. Just because the view is different to mine, doesn't mean they can't have it.
And this isn't a Tan bashing thread at all.

agree too......the question is why are we still red?...........and to me this is the biggest if not only divide among our fans, although certain people want an imaginary enemy to get all worked up about..
my belief is to protest simply by buying blue..and not buy official merchandise...this allows our own to make a purely business decision.............the other opinion is of course offend him until he leaves............
