Early 90s. My earliest memories are a foggy night with Eddie newton. The 1993 double. Hednesford town in a Welsh cup final. Why?

Don't know you just seem so pro tan can't get my head around it, can't understand why you'd have no care about Cardiff city's true colours and identity

I've only just seen this question. I missed it due to replying to the other.

I'm just not blinkered. Tan had done amazing things for this club. Colour isn't an issue for me, just not something i can get worked up about although I can understand why others don't like it. That could be considered his only mistake, not necessarily because I see it add wrong (plenty of clubs have changed colour in the past) but more so because of the reaction he's got as a result.

Fair enough, yeh I agree it's his only mistake really the re brand, I think tan has done good for CCFC and we could have a good future under him, but only if he turns us blue because if he don't then he or the team will never have the full support of the fans so that is a big negative can't you see that? Fair enough I see how you can support tan but you supporting the red is ridiculous can't you see?

Re: Natman blue

The thing for me that is causing the divide is the fans, not tan. Some interesting posts today in that other thread. Wonder if rombie is on to something?

Re: Natman blue

And respect where is due, without Tan we wouldn't have a club at all

Re: Natman blue

Sun Jun 15, 2014 10:09 pm

The thing is no one can honestly say they know what Tan is going to do except Tan himself. Having spoken to someone who is a successful businessman themselves they have said they believe Tan is involved with us not to make money just simply to raise his profile worldwide simple as and he will balance the money put into Cardiff by the amount of money he will bring into his other businesses worldwide.

As others have suggested on here that the there is not point doing a full conversion with the debt to equity due to the Financial Fair Play rules. As much as I despise Tan for the rebrand he has done a lot of good for this club specially compared to that of our previous owners

Re: Natman blue

If people hate Tan that much they should just boycott the games.

Tan and his delegates watch Red Cardiff in an empty stadium ...well he will get the message then.

Protests are fine and I've got no problem with them... But to march against the man, straight into the stadium and them
Watch his product?

He must be pissing himself.

I don't understand the posts/threads aimed at Natman...

Yes, ok, he's annoyed a few people...

But read his posts... he backs up his views very well, and he has every right to hold those views.

Just needs to curb the personal comments sometimes ;)

Unfortunately it seems he gets classed a "stalker" for speaking his opinion but it's ok for everyone to single out and attack him all over this message board

I will never understand a long time Cardiff fan wanting the red or just accepting it.

There are a lot of things that are just not right and this is one of them.

If it's their opinion though, they should be allowed to air that view without being abused/ridiculed, then a debate can be had, rather than any attacks. That's what I take issue with.

All Opinions Welcome! :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

You dont need to understand why he feels like that, just accept the fact he does. Its called tolerance.

There is no right or wrong on how people feel. We all take the information in and process it, then as a result an opinion is formed. Its part of being human.

He hasent backed up his views, I've asked him how can he support tan when he changed us red and that's what the problem is? How can he have no care for our true colours and identity? No answers.
Natman you say tan is not at fault and the problem is the divide between fans, well wake up because it is Vincent tan that has caused this divide between the fans and he is the only one that can unite the fans by returning our colours and identity

Blue, i've backed up my views quite consistently and all across this message board. If you feel I haven't answered something then ask me again as I'm always more than willing to answer. I thought I had answered your question?

Did Vincent tan tell you to say those words or was it annis?

If you think about it though, people blame Tan for a division amongst our fans but even before VT ever knew who we were we had two separate fan message-boards because people couldn't get along!!!

See, THATS what rubs people up the wrong way dude!!

I also disagree, for me, it's Tan who has caused the divide.
How come you think it was the fans?

Well I can tell you that I, and most of my friends, have supported the team home and away since the mid 1960's; 1965 in my case, with some earlier and some later. We are all season ticket holders and still go to every home game and some away. And we all care more about supporting the team and the stability of the club than a colour. I can't understand why true supporters can't get their heads around that. I, myself, generally endorse most of Natman's views.

So what would you say about my support?

How long have you supported this club? Just wondering.

Twatman blue your full of shit, I speak for my self no1 else but my opinion is the same opinion as the majority of city fans no doubt and you are a minority my friend.

So answer my question the same as Jamesc pointed out,
Tell me now how Vincent tan isn't to blame for the divide between fans since he himself caused the re brand?
Answer that one for me

You've just exactly proved my point, which is why I asked the question. "You speak for yourself", so if that's the case how can you blame tan for dividing the fans? In this instance you want to take responsibility for what you say, but you want to abdicate responsibility for dividing the fans on to Tan. How does that work??? Tan doesn't put thoughts in your head, words in your mouth on caused you to show aggression towards your fellow fans, the people do that all by themselves. tan hasn't called me "twatman" you've done that all by yourself, thus proving my point.

Yes you can only speak for yourself, so why do you then assume that the majority agree with you. Have the majority of fans participated in the marches? NO they have not. By making such unsubstantiated assumptions and by resorting to insults you betray the lack of strength in your argument.
