This "COMPROMISE" ???

Sun Jun 15, 2014 8:10 pm

What do you think this means by Vincent tan?
Return to blue? Or a red and blue kit? Or a return of our badge?

Would this be enough for you?

For me no, Vincent tan needs to get rid of the red full stop and return us back to our original badge and blue white and yellow colours.

Regarding Tans so called compromise, Where is it?

He has stated once promoted,we can then discuss " possible " compromise

Its unlike Tan to change his mind

And so 3 years later Tan might discuss a possible compromise

Lets discuss it now and put it all in place Mr Tan :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

:bluescarf: :bluescarf: " WE ARE CARDIFF CITY WE WILL ALWAYS BE BLUE " :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Exactly, tell us tan lovers what is the difference in turning us blue now instead of when we get promoted, can't believe people are taking his statement as a positive! This was his aim playing the fans like fools and it's working by the looks because the people who have taken his statements as a positive are fools

No compromise for me, unless it's blue with our badge then it's a no from me.

A blue and red kit is just as bad as a red kit. We would still look like someone to else.

Blue would be before the badge though.

If memory serves correct was the compromise line not offered with the suggestion of blue return just before the Chelsea match.
(Inbetween rants about Malky) ?
Surely most city fans saw that for what it was...

So based on that article it wasn't confirmed 100% that it would be debt free, it was as long as everything goes right it will be, which is certainly different. It's disappointing that we won't be made a 100% debt free but as someone said it's arguably not beneficial that we hold off doing a 100% conversion for FFP.

Sam gets brought up because he was a previous owner who also ran up the debt, very similar to our current owner so quite apt to compare them, specially when fans refused to call him out over increasing our debt. Sam certainly did not leave us with a squad worth more than our debt otherwise we would have sold them and had no debt so that's a poor excuse. However. Tan has certainly left us with a team worth a lot of money as well as expanded our ground and hopefully a new training ground which we can use as an asset.

Anyway I have not called you liar in this thread so no I am not a liar thank you

Edit: Didn't see your edit. Exactly we have always been in debt yet no one moaned (harder to tell seeing as message boards weren't about, either way at least compared to them and Sam, Tan can afford our debt and is more determined than ever to reach the Premier League

Re: This "COMPROMISE" ???

Those 2 articles seem quite consistent with what I've always maintained. The time frame of days (which is what was started by annis) is never mentioned. It is always a long term plan as things click into place. If they do (God willing) it sound be months, if not it could be longer. Since that article there's been a number of things (scam, malky/moody, vitriolic fans and relegation) Which had got in the way. Nothing anywhere had started his long term aim had changed its just taking longer.

I only asked 'is that you?' - You have made your answer.
Was it entirely coincidental that this thread was started when Mr Tan's compromise was being aired on the 'can't get me head round it' thread?

And on the debt.
In essence there is nothing wrong with a company having debt. The big problem is when things get out of control and the principal/interest repayments cannot be met. When the bank calls in the loan then the problem crystallizes. Sam hit exactly this problem with Citigroup and the Club was fucked as Sam had run out of time and money.
The very big difference between the Sam and Tan debt is that Mr Tan seems entirely in control of the debt and is not in hock to a bank in the way that Sam was.
