I believe Vincent Tan

Sat Jun 14, 2014 7:37 pm

I believe Vincent Tan has his own company making Cardiff City's kit for next season and has designed it mainly himself with help from his own staff.

The kit is running late as originally Tan's company were making it, then he put it out for tender, then he changed his mind and decided it should be down by his companies. Anyone heard anything different?

If I was Tan I would not make to many as I honestly can seeing it being a total failure due to the despicable red and thanks to the Trust,Thomas and Billy the Badge all selling BLUE tops next year and all making childrens tops to XXL,at half the price as well :thumbright: and keeping our stadium BLUE and proud including all the away games :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

What I've been hearing is that JJ was fiddling things to do with the new kit and that Tan had hand to get involved last minute to make sure it gets done. Something about arranging a deal for Ely rangers which would also help jj out. I'm also hearing he was behind the two tone red last year

Is this late for our club? They've always been shit at this stuff. If the trust can produce, announce and ship a shirt before our club can release a design then it shows our club is in the dark ages.

And tan didn't have any input into it

What was the name of the sports company Annis? PM me if needs be.

Things were going ahead as far as I knew a week or so ago but I know there were some delays so Tan may well have intervened since.

When I had a stadium tour of the CCS last season the guy who showed me around from the 'house of sport' said the following:

'Next seasons kit is being made by Tan's own company so that he gets 100% of the income from shirt sales rather than giving the large slice of cash to a third party supplier.

I then asked, whats Tan's shirt manfacturing company called?

He said, 'I heard its Tan Sport or Dragon Sports'

The guy didn't exactly seem a fountain of CCFC knowledge during the tour, but this bit of what he said fits with Annis' original post on this thread.

That may have been the plan last season but from what I know Tan has got a sports company (not manufacturer) to source the kit for the team. He's not receiving 100% of the income but it's certainly a lot more than having to pay someone directly like Puma.

Down this way little old Bournemouth already have their new kit out and it's traditional and selling by the truckload, Vincent tan wake up and smell the coffee, make your own kit and take 100% but 100% of no sales is f all. Blue kit on the other hand will fill your pockets vinny boy,do the right thing.

As I've said before....I'm not gonna judge the new kit before I see it....it can't be worst than some I've seen recently. :ayatollah:

So you slate Annis for putting out what he hears and accuse him of attempting to influence the fan base... and then expect everyone to listen you you when you do exactly the same. :laughing6:
