Am in bits

Thu Jun 12, 2014 5:59 pm

Took our Dog for a check up and when we got him home he more or lessed collapsed. Took him back and they have found a mass on his spleen and its bleeding. There is a problem with his liver as well so he is having emergency surgury.
The wife and me are in bits and im sat here with tears coming down my cheeks. Its gonna be a long night.

Nukes , I've just been through exactly the same thing . I had my 11 year old staffy put to sleep 2 weeks ago & I can honestly say it was the worst day of my life . It's getting easier now but still pretty painful as it was my first dog

Fingers crossed for you mate , they are a mans best friend.

I lost 2 dogs. One of old age and another as a puppy when it was hit by a car. There are few things worse than the puppys death as you know you are responsible for them as they are innocent to the world.

House isnt the same but i always remember the good times they brought.

Luckily modern pet care is the best weve ever seen. Good luck.

Totally agree our dog was first baby in the family and dreaded the final days. Knocked our whole family for six for a good while. Miss her every day especially the welcome coming home from work. Always remember the good days and would never swap those memories for anything.
Thoughts are with you nukes

I hope it goes okay. Dogs who always give unconditional love and who rely on you for everything, to think about anything bad happening to them is horrible. Really hope it turns out alright...really mean that
