It will sell pretty well I think, people who don't buy shirts will buy one to make a point........

I can't see many fans other than some children getting the official kit.......

I'll be getting a few. Hoping the vote goes for 1 as I already have two 70's style tops. But if it has to be three then so be it.

So if he's hit half the business acumen he is supposed to have, he can stop them selling like hit cakes and turn us back to blue and do his own version. It's not rocket science yet he cannot see it.

Would be even better if shorts socks were in the offering

I'm not a Trust fan but I will definitely be buying some of these.

Well done to Phil aka Sherwood.

Would there be enough demand for shorts and socks to??????

Re: it will be interesting how well trust shirt sells

Number three I voted for but I'll buy whichever wins

Re: it will be interesting how well trust shirt sells

See I voted for 4,it's unique and don't understand the idea of ppl clambering for the 70's shirt,it's been around yrs,I've had mine before the rebrand even come around and you see loads about already,I think they've missed a trick giving the option of it,I personally think 4 is a new design which would make more of a point to tan as it would be a completely new shirt not a copy of anything and one which fans choose before his shirts

Dorsetblue,The man is blinded by his culture and traditions - yet he denies us our culture and traditions?

I think that Vincent Tan now realises that he made a massive mistake by not consulting fans and by just pushing the rebrand (Red and Badge) BUT he is constrained by his tradition and cultural beliefs.

Most people from South east Asia are very culturally aware and grow up, rightly or wrongly, with strong views and superstitions.

They include:-

Lucky number 8 - did you know that you can buy a mobile SIM card in a shop in Malaysia and the price of that SIM card, of equal monetary value, costs more to buy dependent on the number of lucky 8's contained within the phone number ??? (eg - a $10 phone card SIM with number 0255617322 will be sold for $10. BUT a $10 phone card SIM with number 0285188432 would be sold for $17) :?

The number 4 - is avoided like the plague as its a sign of bad luck. You will not find many houses with the number 4 hanging over the door, they would rather change it to number 3A or 5B.

Red and/or Yellow are colours of fortune and good luck.

Blue and Black are colours of death and bad luck.

Pregnant women should place a knife under their bed,to protect their unborn baby from evil spirits.

And many, many more complex superstitions prevail.

But, "saving face" dwarfs all the others, and this I do believe is the reason why we are still Red with a laughable Mickey mouse badge and why Vincent Tan will never turn us back to Blue and original badge, while he is the Boss.

Of all the idiosyncrasies of Malaysian culture, the concept of “Face” is perhaps most difficult for us Westerners to fully grasp. And because “saving face” is such a strong motivating force in Malaysia, it’s also one of the most important concepts in understanding the Malaysian Mind.

The closest translations are along the lines of “pride”, “dignity” or “prestige”.

Of course, no one — regardless of culture—wants to look bad or have their ego bruised. But the Malaysian concept goes way beyond the narrow Western concept of "Saving Face".

Sorry to bring up the Rebrand thing again, just trying to answer "Dorsetblue's" question. And any of us who cling on to the hope that under Mr Tan we will be a blue club again.

Sad but true I am afraid.

I see peoples point on tjoa but at the end of the day it's about getting more blue about than raising money so I don't see it as a problem.

Think you will find the size chart on their website tells you all you need to know

http://www.kukrisports.co.uk/about-kukri/size-guide/

I have a couple of kukri polo shirts and they are nice quality and tend to be generous on the size.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

As other posters have mentioned, the fit on Kukri's gear tends to be generous.

I've seen some mock ups of the shirts and the quality is very good too.

Aiming for them to be available to order online from Monday lunchtime.

£22 kids and £27 adults with £5 from every shirt sold to Ty Hafan.

The trust literally won't make a penny from the sale of these shirts.
