They certainly wouldnt want another war with us. Last time around they caught us off guard and were able to take a few liberties... This time around (although we have made cutbacks to our armed forces) our weaponry and technology has moved on 30years, we are also aultra battle hardened through our conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, where as there weaponary and armed forces are basicly the same as they were in the 80s, if not in a worse state..... It would be over in days this time around. And there's fukall they can do about it politically, because of the simple fact, the islanders emphatically want to remain under the British flag....not that the argies have ever had any claim to the Falkland islands to begin with. So they may as well just pipe down

These are the facts, the Malvinas historically have been Spanish, French, Argentinian and British settlements, the imperialist past resulted in the occupation by English speaking colonists. We are paying to defend more sheep than people, thousands of miles away when we are cutting services here! As for possible oil around the island if you read the bp report on shale gas and energy for the next 50 years it's a non starter. Loads of young football fans have given they're lives for the imperialist cause.

The Falklands have never been Argentinian and never will
