Annis to be honest we haven't had a descent defence for some time. We need a solid defence to allow our new forwards to score the goals we need to secure promotion this year.

How many of our fantastic supporters believed last season we would stay up with Championship defenders? We needed new stronger defenders in the summer but other than Caulker we brought in no quality and as a result went down.

If we don't strengthen our defence we will struggle to be in the top two.

Defence needs a good looking at but I think we are ok I'm midfield but won't hurt to add one or two DM

Ninianblue has lost the plot again. Hudson and Turner - shit. Two years ago they built a strong back 4 who won the Championship outright . The latter is still young and experienced Championship football. They will both be playing against inferior forwards to last year. Get a grip man!

Ole needs players that will play his way, Malkys team was set up for a completely style so a rebuild is in order.

Defence - Brayford Hudson Cala Fabio = good enough back 4 with McNaughton Connolly turner john all good replacements with injury or suspension

Midfield - 1st choice holding midfielder needed and an extra winger

For me our main priority is a holding midfielder. Sign 1 and we are good to go, if il being greedy I would say a winger but hopefully we have another 1 in Kadeem Harris

I also like the idea of Dhaeli left drifting infield with Fabio overlapping, similar to Baines and Pineaar just not as good obviously

I'm not concerned about leaking goals as I still think we have plenty of time time to bring in players. But to be honest other than a left back we should be shipping people out before brining people in for defence.

Midfield needs a bit of an ovehaul in my opinion but again other than a Medel replacement we need to ship people out first.

The priority was always upfront as we have struggled upfront for pretty much three years under malky. That seems to have been sorted.

I think what is needed most is consistency of selection, especially defensively, a back four who know each others strengths and weaknesses and we need a bloody good defence coach. Towards the end of last season our defence looked as if they had never met each other let alone played together.

Like most on this thread I would like to see a replacement found for Caulker and one or perhaps two central defensive midfielders.

I would sign a DM if a couple of midfielders go out, that Osasuna guy sounds good and a proper LB, as if Fabio gets pushed into that posistion he's not as good, Ridgwell would be my first choice.

We currently have Fabio, John, Brayford, McNaughton, KTC and Connolly who can play full back.

I think our defence is fine, perhaps another good centre back if I'm being greedy, but I'm happy enough with what we currently have. The main priority should be bringing in a ball winning midfield general, a leader who will galvanise the team and give us the motivation and drive when the chips are down on a cold winter Tuesday night at Brentford.

At the moment, Ole has brought in what looks like some nice, talented footballers. But we won't achieve anything without a bit of organisation, grit and steel in our side, otherwise we will continue to be a soft touch.
