Sorry I have been quiet on the development of this shirt, this is a sample shirt displayed. I have made alterations to it, but have not made any alterations to the design features![]()

I have some shirts that are on their way to friends and family. This is due for them in 1-2 weeks. Once I have got the positive feedback that is 100% positive, I will be ready to sell online. The feedback over the sample shirt has been overwhelming and I would like to thank everyone who is supporting this project![]()

The shirts will be available to buy only if the feedback from my first batch is excellent. I have worn the sample, and with no bias I can say that it feels great and looks great. If I had to sum-up the blue polyester t-shirt up with 1 word, I go for 'sexy'![]()
The second batch will be available to everybody this month, and you will be able to purchase them for £25 + postal cost. I will be selling XS, S, M, L & XL in the second batch. Everything I do has to be tested. Therefore, I need to look at the kids sizes and get some smaples and testers out before they can be sold public. I will eventually sell all the sizes on the size chart given.
The next post I make I will provide a link to where you may purchase this kit. I have been very thorough in providing the best possible quality to the shirt with embroidery features.
Thanks![]()

Does it count as selling knock offs if you've designed them yourself?

Yes as explained in my lengthy post here.

Its not for me to say but I'd at least change the bluebird to something else before selling them. I think the colour of the shirt itself speaks volumes and sends the right message in the stadium.
Why take a risk using a protected mark?

However, it's the visit Wales logo that I find somewhat detracts from the "we want a return to blue message" - it's almost as if it's trying to fly in the face against the visit Malaysia advertising the club have been using, and that's not really the issue we have, is it?

It's a fan-made football shirt. As a football shirt, I'm sure 90% of Cardiff fans would say that there's nothing more or less they would want from a Cardiff City shirt. Blue/white/yellow as our rightful colours, our symbol as the dominant image of the badge (the Bluebird), our nickname on the shirt, the Welsh flag, and local "sponsorship". It's the ideal Cardiff City shirt. I'm sure no one would choose to have Visit Malaysia as our sponsor.

I was with you until you got to the bit about shirt sponsorship - you only tend to find local sponsorship deals in the lower leagues i.e. local tyre company/travel agent etc. Football is a global business, advertising reflects that. I DO have an issue with the shirt colour and badge... however, not our sponsorship. Are you suggesting we have some kind of problem with the country of Malaysia or its people (cue Tan haters!)?
As I said, I find the removal of the Malaysia sponsorship as some kind of two fingered salute to Tan which is unnecessary... unless of course the Wales Tourist Board are actually sponsoring this shirt concept in some shape or form?
