Didn't think about that, possibly could be on a decent wage with MM.. but then again be good to have him as a back up IMO.

Both those fullbacks were discussed and it was said that both were likely to leave in the summer.

I'd be more than happy relying on those 3, with Brayford, John, fabio and kev as our 4 full backs, Connolly & KTC to go at the back. We still have nugent as well, how he's playing these days tho I have no idea.

We need another centre back Hudson won't last the season with out getting injured.

Maynard is quality. He's been very unlucky with an horrific injury and when he recovered we were in the Prem and he probably wasn't ready for that. I'm sure that he will make a big contribution in the Championship if Ole wants to keep him.

He started well last season but i think he lost his confidance as the season wore on hardly surprising the amount of goals conceded. He's pretty big he aint slow and he's no mug thats what is needed in the championship as for Maynard injuries have scuppered his time with us but lets not forget when he has been fit he has been one of the best finishers in the championship. I feel there's far worse than KTC and Maynard to get rid of

Agree with the fact that he's big and isn't slow (not lightning fast either!) but unfortunately he was made to look a mug in the Premier. Caught out of position too often and ball watching - needs to go.

How you can all rip in to KTC yet John is the next best thing since Gareth Bale is ridiculous.. I agree KTC is no Ashley Cole but hes not exactly shit either.. He has all the same flaws as John yet gets all the criticism.. He wouldn't be playing for Cardiff if he had Suarez, Rooney, Hazard and Aguero in his pocket every game! He always gave 100% which is more than most last season. I actually hope he gets a chance to prove himself as I think he can still do a job for us (remember who we are).. Athletico have proven a team full of triers can be just as effective as a team of superstars.. Start supporting the boys I know its difficult to go from seeing your usual team winning every week but when you made the switch to your local team this is what you got!..

well hes not very good firstly (though good enough for the championship i imagine) then we are paying him a probably 30k a week for it.


people seem over the moon that Taylor is going, but for this level of football taylor and John would be fine at left back, and i bet they are on less combined than Fabio

I agree. Early in the season I remember the fans on here rating KTC as the best of Malky's transfers when considering value for money and plenty were rating him a fantastic find. Most of the fans on here forget that confidence plays a big part in a player's game and also the fact that there has been huge turmoil in the club, which may be easier to come to terms with by some of the home grown players, but will be different for those playing abroad for the first time.

this player switched off in so many games during the season, add the school boy error against sunderland when he only needed to boot the ball into row Z but no tried knocking it up the line he must go

Totally agree. I can see KTC and Brayford both vying for the RB spot.
