Ross McCormack is set to leave cash-strapped Leeds United after manager Brian McDermott lost his job.

McCormack, 27, was the Championship’s top scorer last season with 29 goals and the Scotland striker handed much of the credit to McDermott, who spent less than 14 months in the job.

McCormack, rated by Leeds at about £8million, is wanted by a host of clubs headed by Celtic, West Ham, Leicester and Malaga.

I'd be very shocked if they get £8 mill for him. If we were in for him I wouldn't pay no more than £3 mill but good luck to him wherever he goes, very good player on his day.

Apparently he was bid 6 mil by us in january, after first turning down 4 mil. Leeds have any regrets? Think so.

Would offer either one of Maynard, Kenwyne or Mason plus 2mil to bring him back here! Mason is the one I'd least like to see leave though.

Could always play Ross on the wing or as a secondary striker. Campbell, Macheda and McCormack are all able to play on the wing or as a CF, so that would give us a lot of options to switch up tactics!
