' Latest in the bookies and in the media '
Ex-Swansea City and Cardiff City bosses Malky Mackay and Michael Laudrup are short odds with bookmakers for the Southampton managerial job vacated by Mauricio Pochettino
David Moyes barely gets a mention.
Laudrup and Mackay are also in the running for the Celtic job, with Laudrup reportedly already sounded out about whether the Parkhead role would interest him.

Its a easy geographical move from his Hertfordshire home. Everything should have pointed to malky getting that job? It really makes you wonder Hmmm, as they say...

Malky stock is very high in the media and general public outside of Cardiff but obviously any club looking to employ a manager on a multi million pound contract would do a bit more research. As Cardiff fans we know his philosophy isnt all that appealing when you scratch away the surface.
Ive got a number of clients I talk football with and they are shocked when I say I dont rate Malky. Similairily im friendly with a Spurs fan whos is a ST, and also got a couple of clients Spurs fans, and when I say Tim Sherwood was treated harshly they all totally disagree and hated him.

I hope that MM when at his next club changes his style a bit, mix it up. He has got the potential, does the media side well.
Just wonder what would have happened if there was pressure on him and his style from the supporters.
