rather uninspiring this one

Someone said he's £1 million, good deal I'm sure even the Ole haters will like deep down.

15 goals in the Champ last season and will be cheap. Prefer him to the 3m we'd pay for Grabban.

Good player, I would want him more than Mecheda and Grabban, Ole loves his Strikers doesn't he

He needs to get one of his old Manu Pals to help out, as a defensive coach, maybe he could get someone like Pallister or Gary Neville to do a few sessions with them ???

That would be good for the defence. I'm sure he could sort it too.

Think Le Fondre would be an excellent signing. Wanted us to go for him before he went to Reading. Will score goals for fun at Championship level. 15 goals last season and he was not a regular starter.

Scored 39 goals in 104 games at Premiership/Championship level. Many of those games he was used as a sub!

"Vincent Tan Out"

Yet chuffed with Tan's money being spent on players. My thoughts are ones of irony.

Not sure how anyone can pick a fault with this one, scored through the leagues throughout, from League 2 to Prem, class signing if we pull it off, we'll have a prolific strike force

 are you suggesting that because you want a Tan to leave, you cannot be happy about the signings the club makes?!

I've read that it's 1million from the deal, that could easily come from a parachute payment & not from "Tan's money". :bluescarf:

Just find it a bit funny that considering he has even put his name as what it is, then he is so happy to let him carry on spending his money for us. Not a two way street.

If ogs wants him he will come:
Le Fondre is a lifelong Manchester United fan and he cites his heroes as Eric Cantona and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.[39]

For 1m you can't really pick a fault, hypocriscy from me but he knows where the net is, more of an impact player though

Which is a fair point, but just because you want Tan out, doesn't mean you don't think the club can't spend any money on transfers at all. :bluescarf:

Aye fair enough. Will be chuffed to get him in any case. Reminds me of Chopra back on form. :ayatollah:

I'd be happy with Le Fondre. 1m hopefully not too much wages and has proven himself in more than one season unlike Grabban. Nice to see early activity in the market.

Re: Adam Le Fondre

:o How many strikers are we in for ! I'd be more than happy if we get him, a good goalscorer, fox in the box sort of striker. I was hoping we could pull it off on deadline day in January when we were first linked, I think he would've complimented Campbell well.

If we do bring him and Macheda in, it does make you wonder where it's going to leave the likes of Maynard and Mason. Personally I'd rather see Maynard and Mason given a chance than bringing in Macheda, the two in top form would be a leading strikeforce in any Championship team.

Also does this spell the end of the Grabban deal ??

It's going to be interesting to see how the squads going to take shape come the start of the season.

Honestly not sure on this one. For £1 million, will score you 15 goals a season and has scored in all leagues is great. Problem is there must be reason why he is seen as nothing more than a bench player. Would rather him than Macheda as he will have a much better attitude.

I’d be happy with this although I think he would be more of an impact sub but thats fine. We needed refreshing upfront so good news.

I don’t see Maynard or Mason having a role to play for us anymore.
