Ole doing what malky couldn't/wouldn't ?

Sign wingers and strikers something we have been desperate for in the last 2 seasons. Looks promising :ole: :bluescarf:

I'm not Malky's biggest fan but do we need to mention him every time something happens. It's getting boring now from both sides of the fence

Tbf he did sign Noone for 1m and that in itself is a bargain as he turned out to be statistically one of the best wingers in the Champ

We didn't run away with it though.
We won it comfortably but we never blew teams away.

no we stutted over the line at the end, only our earlier results gave us enough leeway to make it at end, if you look at our last 10 or so results not pretty reading! but were comfortable in end. :P

If you don't think winning the league by 8 points isn't running away with it, I don't know what is!

but wasnt until last couple games we got that far ahead! and thats mainly because other teams faulted, because our record was poor to say the least over last 10 games or so. :old:

 Calm down, it just seems, fans seem to forget what a great two seasons we had under Malky and always want to be negative about him, but if you like him I apologies for jumping to conclusions :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

And most on here didn't like Malkys playing style either if you take away the ones that liken a fist pump to a blow job.

We won the league first half of the season, and the fatal damage to the rest of the league was done over the Xmas period. After that it was more a case of just doing what we needed to do, and maintain the gap.. If we were being pushed harder by other teams second half of the season, then I'm sure we had another gear to go into imo

So would you say that Malky's championship campaign was poor then? Underachieved?

Nothing about being negative it's about being realistic.
You suggest fans are quick to throw mud at him but your ignorant to the fact the man maybe anything other than the squeaky clean person you paint him as.
This forum went Malky daft when he became the anti tan poster boy and it was laughable.
I didnt want Malky sacked, I have said he should've been allowed to finish the job.
But I wasn't distraught that he was dropped.
This club is bigger than one man.

I've been labelled as a Tan Lover a Pro Red Anti Blue and Now a Malky Hater.
Many of you don't know a thing about me or what I like.

Malky on form at the time deserved to be sacked.
Malky on previous merits deserved to be finished the job.

Yet the Famous Malky Fist Pump quickly disappeared from the smiley list for such a Pro Malky Forum.

We have been praised for the scenes at Anfield.
Seeing as I was one of the people that got the song/ball rolling I would consider that being the epitome of being Pro Malky.

You have claimed in the past people have judged you on inaccurate facts yes or no?

Re: Ole doing what malky couldn't/wouldn't ?

Fri May 23, 2014 2:14 pm

To be fair we were top of the league from October. Although we never played well or beat teams comfortably we fought hard and remained consistent when other teams didn't. We got lucky mind as 2nd half of the season we were very poor but no team could get a consistent run together to catch up to us. Overall, when you compare to this season we wouldn't have even managed 3rd it shows that the season we got promoted was poor

Maybe the reason Leicester and Burnley got more points than we did last season because the overall standard of the league was poorer and less competitive?

Or they were more consistent and had so much quality on show that they went on winning streaks rather than relying on their other teams to lose?

Derby were heavily consistent under McClaren, the Championship was at it's hardest this season. Last season we won the league practically in February, everyone else just couldn't string together any results

Look at Palace, got in the play-offs on the final day despite being absolutely shite under Holloway yet went up madly, it's laughable

Our points tally would of only just passed 3rd place derby  there were a lot more better teams this season, such as QPR, derby and Wigan who only finished in the playoffs which goes to show how well burnley and Leicester done.

Especially when you consider Burnley only spent 500k or something ridiculous like that since Dyche took charge.

Dyche has done amazing fairplay to him.
