Guerra seems a waste of money because of his age

The guy is 32 and 'if' the club goes back to the Premiership that will be 33!!! Whereas a you can get someone on more and half his wage who can score goals in the Championship surely

I think if his goals win us promotion the investment will be more than profitable for the club.
he could be a great squad player next season as well in the premiership if promoted. I dont see a future after that but if he contributes to promotion and avoiding the drop it will be great

His birthday is in March so it would be the end of the Championship season I guess. Its another Bellamy type signing at Championship level really and lets be honest Bellamy was a waste of money.

With the fitness levels and injuries to players these days only a very small percentage keep playing week in week out at the highest level past 33/34. Whilst Ive always been one who likes both experience and youth in a team there are some players who are heading towards the end of their career just looking for the final pay cheque and you cant blame them for that.

Who would you want us to sign then?

He's come on a free, on supposedly low wages and has shown he can score goals in a competitive league what more could you ask for.
