Really.
The debts are owed to Tan. If he goes how do you think he will get his money back. He can demand it but if its not there we can't pay him. He could put us in admin and that will be one way he won't get his money back. Basically he is buggered.
Tan is going ot get back a fraction of his money and that is by selling us on the cheap.

So we get promoted tan gets nearly all his money back the clubs debt is dramatically reduced and is left in a healthy state when he leaves .
We don't get promoted , tan stops propping the club up with his loans which means we then need to sell pretty much every player of worth ,probably under the market value which will then go to pay off tan not back Into the team . Their will be no money available for new players . Tan will sell the club on with the club paying his loans off over the next ten years and when we fail we will have the threat of winding up orders again ( just like the pre tan years ) .
Relegation will soon follow ( how many is anybody's guess ) then attendances will drop again meaning even less money.
The point is the grass is not always greener and no matter how much We dislike tan , at this moment in time he has us over a barrel and without him we are fucked .

So why not now? What is stopping him except FACE and SUPERSTITION - indeed if he marketed BLUEshirts and merchandise he would make a killing.
As i have said many, many times before - I know the people from south east Asia very well and LOOSING FACE is NOT an option.
For this reason alone (never mind all the lies, attitude to us fans and having a knack of saying the wrong things), He will not change the colour or the badge anytime.
THE ONLY WAY, I'M AFRAID IS TAN HAS TO GO - if that means administration or basement football for a few years - I for one will accept - rather than be held hostage to Tan's money, threats and top flight football.
Some things, like heritage, Fan's, History and Togetherness in Harmony as a great club - trump all Tan's money !!!

However when it suits Tan is the anti God because of the debt to equity issue. You can't have it both ways. If we are safe as the debt is to Tan then that means that Tan isn't as bad as some make out and the debt to equity isn't all that important.

So Neil whats your outlook on his latest statement of only turning some of the debt to equity. Don't you think he is not a man of NOT his word?

No (too young), but that's not the point. The standard of football doesn't mean much to be compared to a lot of people on here, I'm not the type of fan to moan about "boring football", I have a passion for this football club and I would much rather we were a real Cardiff City playing shit football than a fake Cardiff City in the Premier League. I want us to win every game we play but our identity means more to me than success.

Deluded but I will pin that down to your age. Tan is not going to sell to a reputable investor while we languish in the lower leagues. He will want a return on his investment and will truly f**k the club up the arse to get it.

So how does this work then? Will you be cheering other teams on when they score against us? Or if we make the playoffs, will you be sat in the stadium praying the other team beat us? Then jump up and down and celebrate if we lose the playoff game, say we get to the final and are playing hmmm I don't know! Leeds for instance, a team we have a fair bit of history with... Will you go to Wembley hoping they beat us, cheer when they score against us? Or will you watch it on TV and cheer on the oppo team from your sofa? I really don't no how its possible to not want your team to win every game? Am I missing something?
