I HOPE WE DONT GET PROMOTED

Sun May 18, 2014 11:38 am

I'll say it first I hope my beloved bluebirds don't get promoted this season as that would mean tan stays and the red stays after reading latests posts on here.
If we stay in the championship then hopefully tan fucks off sells us to a new owner for a cut price then we go back to blue and start again.

Your living in a dream world .
The only way this club will survive with these debts is to get promoted again , failure to go straight back up would be devastating for the club and it's foreseeable future . Unfortunately Especially without tan being here

Really.

The debts are owed to Tan. If he goes how do you think he will get his money back. He can demand it but if its not there we can't pay him. He could put us in admin and that will be one way he won't get his money back. Basically he is buggered.

Tan is going ot get back a fraction of his money and that is by selling us on the cheap.

So we get promoted tan gets nearly all his money back the clubs debt is dramatically reduced and is left in a healthy state when he leaves .
We don't get promoted , tan stops propping the club up with his loans which means we then need to sell pretty much every player of worth ,probably under the market value which will then go to pay off tan not back Into the team . Their will be no money available for new players . Tan will sell the club on with the club paying his loans off over the next ten years and when we fail we will have the threat of winding up orders again ( just like the pre tan years ) .

Relegation will soon follow ( how many is anybody's guess ) then attendances will drop again meaning even less money.

The point is the grass is not always greener and no matter how much We dislike tan , at this moment in time he has us over a barrel and without him we are fucked .

How would the clubs debt be increased ?

90% of the debt is owed to tan . Once he has his investment back and he can sell the club in a healthy state, he saves face and can leave without looking a failure . The club will have very little debt . Why would it increase ?

I can't stand the guy but you can't let the hatred for one guy cloud what's currently in the best interests of the club

However when it suits Tan is the anti God because of the debt to equity issue. You can't have it both ways. If we are safe as the debt is to Tan then that means that Tan isn't as bad as some make out and the debt to equity isn't all that important.

The blue in 2 brigade would find the op music to their ears, not getting promoted would be stage 1 of our slide down the pyramid system and ever nearer to their ultimate target..as happy as a pig in shit playing in blue in the basement league.

I hope it doesn't cost another fortune to get promoted.

We have enough debt as it is and rather than celebrating when we win a bid for a player, just consider the consequences a bit more carefully.

Some of our fans had the attitude that Tan was going to convert all debt to equity, so just spend his money.

That, in hindsight, was madness.

Let's consolidate this year steadily without any quick fixes. We could do with a period of stability on and off the pitch, although the BLUE/badge issue needs to be ongoing.

I just do not like Tan's blackmail tactics - he will look again at the colour IF and When we get back to the premiership?

So why not now? What is stopping him except FACE and SUPERSTITION - indeed if he marketed BLUE :bluescarf: shirts and merchandise he would make a killing.

As i have said many, many times before - I know the people from south east Asia very well and LOOSING FACE is NOT an option.

For this reason alone (never mind all the lies, attitude to us fans and having a knack of saying the wrong things), He will not change the colour or the badge anytime.

THE ONLY WAY, I'M AFRAID IS TAN HAS TO GO - if that means administration or basement football for a few years - I for one will accept - rather than be held hostage to Tan's money, threats and top flight football.

Some things, like heritage, Fan's, History and Togetherness in Harmony as a great club - trump all Tan's money !!!

Blooobirds Forever !!!      :old:

Ever since I supported the city we have been a financial basket case.

We owe one man far more money that we are worth.

The lease of the ground states it must be used for sporting purposes (I believe - any confirmation)

If Tan has mis managed "his" club so poorly then surely he will take the hit........

if Tan decides to sell all the players and take the profit it will hardly dent the debt. If he asset strips it will hardly dent the debt. Nobody is going to give him value for money when it is very clear he wants out.

Tans best line of attack is to kept us viable. He will soon take a hit but no where near as severe as asset stripping.

i was too ypung to remember our relegation from the top flight in the early sixties.........but was there against Bolton to see us drop to the 3rd level..........its taken the club the best part of 40 years to recover properly.....we never attracted a descent backer.........and the gates dropped and dropped and dropped........people go on and on about NP and the atmosphere but i remember being in there looking around and feeling sad.......this once proud ground with 3,000 dotted around, season after season after season.........talk is cheap 80% of those now mouthing will not attend........ST sales have all tragy taken a big hit after one bad season.............

I didn't say he was but when Sam lied it almost caused our club to go bust, when riddler lied it almost caused our club to go bust, Tan lies (as you admit) it doesn't nearly cause our club to go bust. Some may want that to happen but I don't.

Re: I HOPE WE DONT GET PROMOTED

Firstly if you don't want Cardiff to win every game then you are not a Cardiff City fan and should not be in the stadium. Secondly if Tan is going to sell the club to someone responsible and someone that will treat the club correctly then we are going to have to be in the Premiership. If you think for one minute someone who isn't looking for a quick buck will buy our club when we are saddles with debt playing in the lower leagues you are truly misguided.

No (too young), but that's not the point.
