Simon Lim was sacked by Vincent Tan and was to be replaced by a guy called Mr Chu
Then 48 hours later last week Tan reinstated Simon Lim as CEO.
Vincent Tan will give us one more season to get us back in the Prem if he fails he will walk away from our Club for good, that is exactly what ive been told and hearing.
I am led to believe he wont leave us entirely in the shit but could walk with the parachute payments etc.
To be honest this is my opinion Tan has been made to look bad the world over and has been a bit embarrassing in his home country so if he was to destroy us that would not look good on him.
I understand there was no wrong doing with Malky he and Moody was sacked for personal reasons.
It was never ever anything to do with money, it was a personal thing with Moody and Tan and Malky backed Moody, Tan had private emails on Moody which Malky did not distance himself from and Tan demanded an unreserved apology.
Craig Bellamy is not wanted by Ole, but Tan wants Bellamy to stay at all costs.
Bellamy refused to play for City v Stoke and went of to Florida with his daughter.
Dalman has considered leaving and it is still on the cards.
Tan will leave if we fail to go back up next season.
Tan has employed a new rebranding company regarding the Red and intends not to let up on it, he has no intentions on compromising and the only thing that hurts him not marches, but the demos in the ground, blue in the ground is finally getting to him, but that still wont make him go, he intends to go more Red.

How reliable is your source mate?

FFS.
Can I have the two mins it took me to read that back please?
Today's football forums are the equivalent to a 1950's back garden fence where old women gossip with no credible source.

Nukes you got to be right about something eventually

Unbelievable, the papers will probably pick it up, like the Marshall should be scoring more goals stories

I don't understand why he'd want to keep bellamy especially if he's fuked off on holiday during the season.those wages could pay a top player who will help get us promoted rather than pay for bellers ego

Stopped reading when you said he will walk away with parachute money. He cant.

Forever Blue wrote:Ive heard a lot of similar stuff that Nukes has posted incl Simon Lim,Chu,Dalmon,Bellamy etc.

You WILL hear similar stuff that's how rumours work.
It will be pretty nailed on that the stuff originates from the same person. Not saying any of it is wrong but corroboration from the same source is not corroboration and does not make it anymore correct.
Be interested to know how, walking away with the parachute payments works? Does that mean he forgoes anything else we owe him? I'm sure FA rules do not allow parachute payments to be just signed over in lieu of debt.
Sun May 18, 2014 9:32 am
The problem is with Tan, anything he say's now means fucall.
He changes like the wind, very unpredictable.

Yes he can craig and you know it. He can take what he wants as the club owes him the money. As the money comes in and for player sales he can claim that as owed.

Exactly. People just want to demonise him, which is pretty easy to do. So why people go with this kind of stuff is ridiculous.

thats not parachute payments. He cant touch them like you said he can. Player sales is totally different.

Parachute payments can be withheld if there is evidence an owner will walk away with the cash. The payments are specifically to try and ensure financial stability and some security for demoted clubs, during a transition phase of reducing costs.
All you do is regurgitate pub talk and wrap it up as coming from a club source.
With regards to any wrongdoing by Malky, I understand that when Stephen Owen-Conway requested an audit of financial transactions including player transfers, Malky tried to make things difficult and did not welcome being questioned.

If true it's worrying what is in the email for to drop a multimillion pound case and have to give a pathetic groveling apology to tan.
Not sure why tan wants Bellamy to stay, maybe he is advised he is some kind of local hero adorred by fans.

Maybe because Bellamy is loyal to tan. Bellamy doesn't seem to like the fans much lately

I'm not sure if he can take the parachute payments just like that. However he can certainly set up the repayments to the loans to extract future parachute payments. It is another Langston episode again.
Personally I think if he is sincere about leaving us if we fail to get promotion then it we will be sold on the cheap. So in preparation for that expect the big wage players to go but also expect a squad that is still capable of challenging for promotion. It will be a fine balancing act whoever has that job to do.

If Tan just "walked away" we would enter administration within days. As soon as we are in admin then all payments from football league, premier league, FA are witheld. This is to stop what happened to portsmouth and Balran Chanrai happening again.

'Walking away ' suggests hge would sell to anyone who made a half decent offer.
To me that is worrying.. it opens up[ the opportunity for someone even worse to come in..
For all the crap he has done the wages are still getting paid, 20 years on and Wrexham still haven't recovered from what Hamilton did to them, Newport have just about returned from Sherman and the Jacks had to go bust to get rid of the mess left by Petty and the others... Portsmouth, Luton, Oxford.. plenty of examples of it getting even worse.
I'm all for keeping the pressure on him to get the colours back, but think we need to be careful what we wish for.

Anyone bored of Roathie being proven correct?
As soon as investments go past value of assets (including shares and potential sponsorship deals with his companies) then the risk to reward ratio tilts not in his favour and he will be out.
I did the maths for you all and said if it isnt this year then it will be next.... Again vilified for it

Walking away means selling us on.
As Tim mentions it could be passing us on to someone worse but it also means it could be the opposite. If he does walk I will be apprehensive this time.

I know Tan has pulled more stunts with a BMX bike with our club, but after listening to Tan's recent interview with Rob Phillips, i tend to believe Tan more than what Annis has just posted .

City have sold approx 14,500 season tickets plus about 900 Prem for next season, thousands have deserted not because of the rebrand, because NO Man United lol
Of course about 3,000 plus have stopped going over the last 2 years through the rebrand.
We must continue the BLUE protests at every home and away games in the ground, it really does get to him and the world sees it.

Yes he can.
The club owe him money, he is well within his rights to spend parachute payments on paying off what the club owes.
