Love doing business early, two strikers in, early good time to settle. :thumbright:

Hope we get this done early and don't allow any other teams in, interest is high in him from clubs similar to us, to be the first club to get a bid accepted gets us a bit of an advantage but gives him more time to dwell if the move is right for him or not.

Would love him here though, clearly knows where the net is :ayatollah:

Amazing we could bring him in for £3million and sell Campbell back into the Prem for less.

Football fees are fucked up.

60k a week for 5 years I've heard!

I'm only joking! Good buy. Perhaps he's a replacement for Campbell if he leaves.

You never know if a player will succeed but imo Grabban seems like a great player for our squad.

Since 2011 he has 127 games and 57 goals. 22 goals in Championship this season for a newly promoted team shows that he knows where the goal is.

My best mate is from Bournemouth and this is how he sees Grabban as a player:

Positives: Very strong with the ball at his feet. Very good finisher and draws alot of attention from the defenders with his positioning at the last defender.

Negatives: Runs in offside alot. Rarely seen at the wrong side of the pitch if you want a striker who works defensively.

He says the negative sides of Grabban can be up for discussion. Grabban is usually found side by side with the last defender. As close to the goal as possible.

AS he says, some fans dont like the fact that Grabban seems lazy at times but he believes that if he was to spend his time chasing the ball towards his own goal he would never scored 22 goals because many of his goals comes from inteceptions and then he is always there infront of the box.

I like it, i prefer strikers who are on the pitch to score. I believe that Campbell would scored much more goals if he had just been at the last defender. Too many times this season the ball came and he weren`t even close at getting to it because he was on his way up from defence.

He never seemed up to it at Palace but has worked his way back to the championship and has a decent goalscoring record. Good luck to him :thumbright:
