City are not playing tomorrow, did u go to Sunderland & Newcastle & Support Cardiff ?

No one is forcing anyone to go tomorrow, but I just think its great to support a small local club when ours is not playing

Newport hate us.

If u have followed City for years you will no the hatred from Newport regarding Cardiff, they prefer the Jacks than us a fact.

Merthyr and Cardiff support each other. :bluescarf:

They failed on promotion last year so it'd be great to see them get promoted. How many leagues are they below us if they get promoted?

You honestly dont know much about Cardiff City and our fans.

In the 80's and 90's when Cardiff played away and City fans who could not afford away games, they would pop along and support Merthyr or Barry Town. In them days Merthyr would get crowds of up to 4,500 and Barry about a 1,000 but for Cup games Barry would get 6,000, mostly City fans at both clubs matches.

During the Years City and Merthyr have had a a good bounding and nearly all the areas around Merthyr and Merthyr itself support Cardiff.

Where as in the 80's Newport and Cardiff detested each other.

When City got relegated yesterday Newport fans cheered and sang about us. I even had pm's of Newport laughing at us, where as Merthyr fans have are totally the opposite.

No one is forcing u to ever support and cheer on a local non league side, I love it and Premiership football and Championship football is not everything. If merthyr get promoted tomorrow I will celebrate with them.

Cardiff City are my team, but there is nothing wrong in cheering on local non league sides

Its £9 Adults(£7 with City Season ticket) and everyone under 16 FREE).

Merthyr always happy to see Cardiff supporters.

Unfortunately have to charge full price for this game (£9 adults £7 over 65s and under 16s free) as gate is shared with opposition.

3g pitches are a bone of contention in the welsh league system

lots of welsh league clubs complain it's an advantage when they play with sides who have 3 g facilities

3G pitches are great in that games very rarely get called of in the winter and the ball does bounce different to normal grass
