Annis, I wouldnt even waste my time going to the Swindon one. Keep going for half an hour and go to the Bicester one, just north of Oxford. Its unreal....it has BOSS, Armani,Barbour, Burberry, DKNY, Gucci, Hackett, Lacoste, Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren, PRADA, Timberland, North Face and more.
Its all about half price.
There is a hungry horse type cheapo pub there plus a hotel if you need 2 days shopping up there. Well worth the trip.
I dont know why but not many people seem to know its there.

How much are things on average then? (Just so I know roughly what I'm looking at spending- and I know it's the first thing the Mrs will say "is there any point in spending the petrol etc etc?!?!)

Dont get me wrong, its still not cheap but if you like quality clothes you'll get some real bargains. Last time I was there I got a Paul Smith shirt for £45 instead of £90, a Paul Smith jacket for £50 instead of £180 and a pair of Timberlands for £35.
Not my cup of tea but the PRADA shop is great......Polos are £70 instead of £150. BOSS jeans were going for £70 and were marked up at £200. You get my drift.
Not sure what seasons stuff it is but I'm not bothered by that.
It makes Bridgend's Mcarthur Glenn look like a jumble sale.

There was a documentary on tv recently about these designer outlets and the reason they sell stuff so cheap is because
its specifically made for designer outlets bottom line is you re not getting top quality thats why its so cheap.

Just come back from florida, now that's what you call a bargain Lacoste ,Rl in fact anything is dirt cheap we bought another suitcase to bring it all home in,my 11 yr old boy now has more designer stuff than me!lol
Although I think the OP might have trouble getting a lift there and back :)
