Relegated tonight..

Wed Apr 16, 2014 10:30 pm

After Seeing The results..

Can't see us surviving.

Damage has already been done.

Re: Relegated tonight..

What result relegated us tonight then? :?

Re: Relegated tonight..

Wed Apr 16, 2014 10:34 pm

Why? Because Sunderland won and are 3 points behind us? Tonight's result will probably not even make a difference, there's no way Sunderland are staying up.

The only two teams who can effect our season are Norwich and ourselves.

Sunderland drew

Even better

Turned off the radio when they went 2-1 up so I assumed they won, this just adds more to my argument

We are down.
Teams around us have shown the desire and fight.
We have not..
Southampton was a good win but it was hardly like we battered them.
Wouldn't be surprised if Fulham beat Spurs as Spurs are falling dramatically under Sheerwood.
Said it before and I will say it again "you gotta beat your rivals to survive in this league"

Losing at Home to Palace and Hull in the manner that we did does not suggest premier league survival

Sunderland didn't batter Man City tonight. Fulham didn't batter Norwich. You don't have to batter teams to show desire and fight. Teams with a lot of quality batter teams, therefore us winning away to a side far superior to ours (Southampton), is about as much fight an desire you'd see. Not quite sure what else you're expecting.

Re: Relegated tonight..

I agree with you that I can see us going down, but tonight didn't change anything.

If we win on Saturday however....

Maybe it's the peronis taking their toll Kev but I just don't see how we escape this...
Think Sunderland are coming with us also.
But I stand by my comment on beating your rivals.
Which is something we haven't done aside from Fulham.

f*cking hell talk about negative!

Whether we beat Southampton 12-0 or 1-0 doesn't matter, it means 3 points. Have some faith.

Agree with you that we needed to win the above 2 games, but who would have said we would have got 3pts at Southampton, after the Palace performance :?:

We need 3pts Saturday - then look at getting some points from the 2 away games.

A win (a big if) on Saturday and everything will change mate. I can see it happening too. Sunderland's home form is so poor, I believe we can beat them too. A point against a badly out of form Newcastle and it's happy days. Believe. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Great supporter.

How you lump beating Southampton as a good win and not a show has fight, your delusional.

On top of that we didn't batter them but we dealt with them pretty okay, bar the big 2 chances but that was them throwing the kitchen sink at it.

Re: Relegated tonight..

Wed Apr 16, 2014 11:27 pm

What a silly assumption, if we win on Saturday and our relegation rials drop points(they have relatively hard games) you wouldn't be saying that, absolute garbage talk from you

Great Supporter comment kinda irked me..

I've said from the start of the season I didn't think we would survive.

So it's hardly like I've just given up...

How can you make the comment beating Southampton on their own patch and keeping a clean sheet as a good win, stupid in reality.

Bollox to you sweetheart.
You say I make a silly assumption and then you counter it with ifs and buts...

But I'm talking garbage.

Fact we have dropped far to many points against rivals and teams around us to survive.
No ifs or buts about that.
We are where we are because over the whole of the season so far our squad hasn't been good enough.

Again No ifs or Buts...

I am still looking at Cala's goal now and again and the scenes at the end, but as said it was only a good win..

Yes, ifs and buts.

You're saying that we've dropped "far too many points", but it's not "too many points" until we're relegated.

You're saying we're now relegated because of the results tonight, which is completely ridiculous, and you won't even consider the huge possibility that if we pick up points from our next 2/3 games we can stay up. Don't be so stubborn.

Re: Relegated tonight..

Not being Stubborn Jon I'm just saying from what I've seen over the course
Of the season we do not have the tools to survive.
Under Malky he retained far to many players not good enough..
Ole was clearly buying for Championship, Wolf and Berget etc etc.

Southampton was a good win.
But still doesn't make up for dropping points to Hull,Palace etc.
ESP Considering the manners of the defeats .

Chuckles feel free to f**k off as your just a layer of cock cheese in my opinion.
Your on ignore for a reason.

Re: Relegated tonight..

While we're still in a poor position I think too much negativity is taken from the Hull & Palace results when you look at their overall seasons. The manner of the scorelines maybe but not the actual defeats.

These games were winnable on paper in August, both sides have been much better than us over the course of the season though.

The bottom 5 is our mini table. It's where things can be decided. How many points have we won and lost in that little group? It's not the overall key to staying up but it's a big part of it.
