'The malky style'

Sun Apr 13, 2014 11:43 am

So considering we won our game yesterday 'the malky style' :? Do you think other teams say they won 'the malky style', when playing defensively and counter attacking, or trying to nick a goal from a set piece. Do you think fans from other clubs say after winning 1-0 from a set piece, that was a malky style win today

Let me answer that for you, no. There's no 'Malky style', the style yesterday is operated through thousands of teams week in, week out. The difference between Ole and malky is, Ole does not have one style of play and can adapt, malky played the same boring shit week in week out. It was also Oles signings who were the stars of yesterday's game, cala, Daelhi and Zaha. Marshall was also outstanding as per usual.

I've heard the 'Malky' style is to go in dry.

Re: 'The malky style'

There is a Malky style and it's built on putting in a performance and not giving in. It's a style that is not pleasing on the eye but effective in not giving points away. To start such a thread and use it to mock Malky just shows you up for the bellend that you are.

Re: 'The malky style'

I'm glad he's gone but threads like this are pointless. Forget about him, he's part of our history now.

He's not mocking him though is he. His point is that people might attribute yesterday's tactics to a "Malky way". He's stating that Malky didn't create that style and that ole is card more versatile; he is able to use that tactic amongst others. Malky couldn't!

Re: 'The malky style'

Sun Apr 13, 2014 12:26 pm

Malky's tactical brainwaves consisted of changing from a 4-4-2 to a 4-5-1

It is nice to see variety although people are using that stick to beat ole with the "he doesn't know his best team" shite, it's called rotation and it's worked for loads of teams for a long time

So he plays the malky way and gets 3 points. Plays every other way and gets stuffed 3-0, 4-0, 6-3

I am only brining this up Craig because of that other stupid article about Ole winning the malky way, utter nonsense.

Fulham, Norwich, west brom, Aston villa? We were unlucky not to beat Everton away playing the Ole way IMO, Zaha got robbed a stone wall pen. All over Liverpool at home and got robbed by the ref. Besides palace and hull home we have done well under ole. Once ole has got rid of Malkys deadwood we will be a lot better.

You do realise malky got trounced 0-3 at home to Southampton, and we had the 2nd worst defensive record in the league under him.

Serious question.

Why do you start a thread every day slating Malky? You're worse than his lovers.

But you commented on the thread anyway so this thread is pointless. You and others need to leave Malky in the past.

We won yesterday by being organised, disciplined, not giving anything away, staying in the game and nicking a goal to give us something to hang on to and we rode it out for a hard fought win. A typical, textbook, Malky style performance. Well done to Ole for finally getting it right for once. He set us up correctly and we sneaked a win. Keep a clean sheet and we will get a result. Hopefully Ole can keep us organised for our remaining 4 games to give us a chance.

Interesting how Burnley are doing so well this season too. Sean Dyche has clearly picked up a thing or two from playing "the Malky style".

You think Malky would have taken Medel off for Zaha on 60 mins?

If you have seen Burnley play this season you would see they play anything but the "malky style"

More like Dyche forgot everything he got off Malky and did it the opposite way.

I must have imagined Malky initially playing Miller and Earnshaw up front together then...

God you're like the TRose guy. Do you even watch football outside of Cardiff? Burnley may play 4-4-2, they may have a good defence and Dyche may know Malky but in no way do they play similar to us.

Jesus Christ you'd do anything to make Malky look good wouldn't you?

A forced substitution cos Gary was fucked having been away on international duty.

Far from tactical and far from the same result
