He looked like he was struggling to speak Monday, that probably sent him over the edge trying to speak like he was. That's what to much steroids do to you I suppose, was bound to have an enlarged heart etc due to toid abuse.

Most iconic wrestler along with hogan of all time.

Rip.

Clearly a flawed individual and it does appear that at 54 years of age his drug use has caught up with him. He was an iconic wrestler though and I used to always watch his matches when I was growing up in the 80s and early 90s. He has left some memories and fair play to him for doing that. Just a shame for his family that he died so young.

Was only inducted to the Hall of Fame Saturday and had a speech on Raw on Monday, never knew how popular he was until I asked around

For a time, he WAS WWF wrestling. it was him and hulk hogan.

I just watched his speech on youtube, quite erie really as he talks about men taking their last breath eventually but leaving behind a legacy. 2 days later he did just that.

You know... that it's sport entertainment and that you can get injured when performing moves, you know... that it's quite hard to lift up a 200+ pounds man and slam him in a ring?

It's weird as he finally buried the hatchet with Vince McMahon as well. His speech coincides so much with his death and it really makes you think. The fact his death has made main stream news just shows how popular he is. Sad to see him go so early as well, he finally rid himself of his demons

Sad to hear. I've just seen his speech on RAW and he looked so out of breath just by speaking. At least he patched things up with Vince and got inducted into the HoF

R.I.P

Rest In Peace

"No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat; his lungs breathe their final breath."

"And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory."

Sad as it is for him and his immediate family, I find it interesting that grown men like watching steroid bulked freaks of men, roll around and grappling on canvas with each other in the name of entertainment.

It's gotta be bent?

Anyway nothing to do with me what you Saville apprentices get up to, each to their own.

RIP Ultimo Bravo you'll be missed.

How do you know that people here still like it? It was what many of my era watched as kids. He was a hero to many.

Did you walk out of the cinema when they started the fight scenes in Gladiator because "it wasnt real"?

Its entertainment.

When I watched WWE I didn't really enjoy it for the wrestling itself more the actual characters like Randy Savage for example and for the storylines and the stunts that were pulled. I didn't like it because men were suplexing eachother or as you've put it men rolling around (something on your end if you see it as that) more that it was just a different form of entertainment.

So I don't know who you are to judge really. You watch films, you probably watch TV and you have probably been entertained by things far more ridiculous than the concept of wrestling. Each to their own I guess.

Do you still get read fairy tales at bed time by a bloke with white hair, sporting a embellishing, gold medallion and waving a cigar?

Any grown man defending this entertainment is definitely a Michael Barrymore fan. It's not a sleight just an observation.

Carry on, good sir and enjoy.

Weirdo.

You seem to have been absued as a youngster? You seem awfully affected.

Maybe keep it off the thread of a man who has just died and left behind a wife and two children?
